Netley Court Care Home

from Richard W (Son of Resident) published on 21 May 2026

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I had been caring for my father for some time but his reducing mobility meant that he had become unsafe at home. He made the decision to try out care home life, and started a 4 week respite stay at Netley Court, after a tour. Whilst he has had to learn to ask for help (typically of that generation,
he was reluctant to use the 'call button') he has adapted well, and I have found the managers and staff supportive of both my father and family visitors. The maintenence guys arranged room modifications very speedily.
Any minor issues whilst the staff learned his routine and vice versa, have been easily resolved by normal communication. Visiting is very flexible and there are daily activities for residents. The home and gardens are very fit for purpose - wide corridors and doors, which help with options for moving around, and the food is excellent. There is also a private dining room that can be booked for family occasions like birthdays. etc.
Reply from Claire Legg, Homes Admissions Advisor at Netley Court Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We are delighted to hear that your father has settled in well at Netley Court and that both he and your family have felt supported throughout his respite stay.
We understand that moving into a care home and adjusting to asking for assistance can be a big change, so it's wonderful to know that our team has helped make that transition as smooth as possible. Thank you again for your feedback and placing your trust in us to care for your father.

This was the best decision I made to come here for a couple of weeks post-op. You have provided respite care and attention which would have been impossible to replicate at home. Cannot fault anything. Staff have been absolutely lovely and attentive and good fun to chat to. The food is out of this world.
The chef is so imaginative with menu choice and the execution of them superb. All my friends and family visitors have been greatly impressed. Well done everyone.
Reply from Emily Hocking, Home Admissions Advisor at Parkfield GrangeThank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that your post-op stay with us has been so positive and that the care, company and support helped make your recovery easier. The team will be thrilled to know they made such an impact, and our chef will be especially pleased with your kind words about the food.

A truely wonderful experience for both of us. From our initial contact with the admissions advisor we knew we were in safe hands. Such a caring, attentive and kind experience. Nothing was too much trouble and they treated mom with utmost dignity throughout. The carers were excellent, always kind and
thoughtful. It helped me enormously to have peace of mind whilst away on holiday. I had complete and total faith that mom was being well cared for. And that was priceless!
Reply from Paul Turvey, Home Admissions Advisor at The GablesThank you so much for your kind words Julie.
It means a great deal to the whole team to hear that both you and your Mum had such a positive experience with us. We are so pleased that we were able to provide you with peace of mind whilst you were away, as we understand just how important that is for families.
Your comments about the care, kindness and dignity shown towards Mum will mean so much to our team, who work incredibly hard to ensure every resident feels safe, valued and well cared for.
Thank you once again for taking the time to share your experience, and for placing your trust in us. We wish you and Mum all the very best.

Earlsfield Court

from L H (Granddaughter of Resident) published on 15 May 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My grandmother recently moved into earlsfield Court from an independent flat and we can't recommend this home highly enough. What could have been a tricky transition from independence to accepting the care she needs, felt like an upgrade to her life and independence. The facilities are gorgeous, it's
like she's moved into an hotel, but the staff are the cherry on top. My mother and I were worried about handing over the reigns for her care and treatment plan, but within a week of her moving in it was clear she was in great hands. Her meds managed, her care needs met and on top of that she's socializing and enjoying life in a way she hasn't been up to in years. We cannot thank the team at earlsfield enough.
Reply from Daniel Ridgeway, Home Admissions Advisor at Earlsfield CourtThank you for taking the time to review our home.
Its a pleasure to care for your Grandmother and were glad you feel that the transition has improved her quality of life.
I will of course pass you feedback onto the team.

I'm currently half way through a three week stay after having a knee replacement operation and becoming increasingly concerned that I would be able to manage on my own at home. It's the best decision I could have made. The accommodation and public areas are all beautifully furnished and there is a
warm homely feel. The staff are friendly and easily on hand should I need to call someone for help, which was important due to my limited mobility initially. If anyone is thinking of doing this, I can thoroughly recommend it. I'm sure the whole experience is aiding my recovery and I'm grateful for the care. Thank you.
Reply from Claire Hoyles, Home Admission Advisor at Outram FieldsThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're delighted to hear that your stay with us following your knee replacement has been such a positive one.
Recovering after surgery can feel quite daunting, especially when you're worried about managing alone at home, so it means a great deal to know that you've felt supported, comfortable and safe during your time with us. We're so pleased that the environment, accommodation and care from the team have helped you settle in and focus on your recovery.
Our respite stays are designed to provide exactly that reassurance and support at what can be a difficult time, and it's lovely to hear that the experience is helping your recovery along the way.
Thank you again for your kind words and recommendation. We wish you continued progress with your recovery and hope the rest of your stay is just as comfortable and enjoyable.

From the moment my mum moved in she felt like she was at home. I felt so fortunate to have found such an amazing home that treated her like family & made me feel so welcome too. Nothing was ever too much trouble & the attention & care mum received was second to none. She was treated with so much dignity
by everyone working there. All the staff were so kind & caring & mum felt very loved. I never expected there could be a care home of this calibre. I cannot recommend Donna & her team enough. Thank you to them all.
Reply from Claire Hoyles, Home Admission Advisor at Outram FieldsThank you so much for your lovely review, Elaine. Your kind words mean such a lot to us.
It was a real privilege to care for your mum and to get to know you both during your time at Outram Fields.

Outram Fields

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our sister came to Outram Fields in February for a two week respite break. This turned into a permanent stay. She took a couple of weeks to settle in but was helped by the staff and she now seems to be very comfortable there. The rooms are top notch hotel standard, the staff are all extremely friendly
and very helpful to both residents and visitors. There is a full programme of interesting things to do each day and residents are encouraged by staff to take part and from the photos shown daily on social media these are well attended and enjoyed by all. Visitors are also welcome to take part.
Reply from Claire Hoyles, Home Admission Advisor at Outram FieldsThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're delighted that what began as a short respite stay has become somewhere your sister now feels comfortable and settled. We understand that moving into a care home can take time to adjust to, so it's lovely to hear how supported she has felt by the team during those early weeks.
It's wonderful to know you've been pleased with both the environment and the warm welcome from our staff. We're especially pleased that your sister is enjoying the daily activities and opportunities to socialise, and that you've enjoyed following along with the photos and updates on social media too.
Thank you again for your kind words and support - it means a great deal to the whole team at Outram Fields.

Earlsfield Court

Wow! I can't rate Earlsfield Court highly enough. From our initial inquiry we have been guided through the options and process by Daniel with patience and kindness. Such an important decision led to many queries and each, question was answered thoroughly and with respect. He helped us make choices
that were right for us without pressure and with lots of help.

We are now one week on since Ma moved in and we are blown away by the sheer professionalism of the staff. So many staff, so friendly and welcoming and Ma has been helped to settle in every step of the way. It's the many small details and little luxuries that make Earlsfield Court so special. Shima the first person to greet you, knows everyone's name and offers such a warm welcome. Kevin, facilities manager, conjures up a solution to every request and Jenalyn has an encyclopedic knowledge of Ma's needs and medication already. Karen is the manager and the fact we have met her on several occasions tells you all you need to know.

Reply from Daniel Ridgeway, Home Admissions Advisor at Earlsfield CourtThank you so much for taking the time to review our home.
Its a pleasure to have mum as part of our Earlsfield Family and glad that you felt supported both through the initial processes and within the home.
I will of course pass on your kind words to the team.

Watermeadow Grange

Our Dad is new to Watermeadow Grange but we have noticed how much happier he is here than in other residential homes he has stayed in previously for respite care.
It feels luxurious, the communal areas are delightful, clean and comfortable and honestly it feels like a lovely hotel rather than a care
home. The biggest thing for us is the peace and quiet in each room, there are no alarms going off (I believe that the care professionals have personal silent alarms where they can see if someone needs them), the atmosphere is calm and respectful and it smells great everywhere. The staff have been so helpful and kind too and really try to get to know the residents as capable people who have much to offer, which they all still do. Also they go out of their way to help people settle in and make the room feel like their own. I am so impressed by everything so far, thank you for all you do.
Reply from Tanya Williams, Home Admissions Advisor at Watermeadow GrangeThank you for such a warm review. We're delighted to hear your dad is feeling happier and settling in well. It's wonderful to know the calm atmosphere, peaceful rooms and support from our team have made a real difference. Your kind words mean a lot to everyone here.

My dad appears to of settled in well at Heathlands House. All staff have been welcoming and really kind to both my dad and myself and daughter during visits. My father has reported that his meals are very enjoyable and there is a wide choice available. His room is comfortable and spacious, and other
living areas are beautifully designed with appealing decor.

Leah Lodge Care Home

from J F (Friend of Resident) published on 6 May 2026

Mum was diagnosed with dementia a couple of years ago . We were keen to keep her in her own home for as long as possible, but after a number of falls it became clear that for her own safety and well being she would need to receive 24 hour support .
We found Leah Lodge through a friend , whose mum had
stayed .
My sister and I went to meet Jessica , the Home Admissions Advisor , and she showed us round and helped put our kind at rest . Mum was a little anxious about moving from the family home , but I have to say that from the moment she moved in on 11th April 2025 , she was made to feel welcome , sage and looked after . The staff were wonderful and always looked out for mum, giving us regular updates . I visited every week to take mum out , and was always impressed at how welcoming and friendly the staff were ! Mum settled in very quickly , and had a very good year there . Sadly she passed away on 5th April this year .. once again the staff couldn't have been more supportive! Thanks !
Reply from Jessica Tettey, Rectory & Leah Lodge HAA at Leah Lodge Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind review. It was our pleasure to care for your mum for the past year.
