Always friendly and helpful to my sister in law . We are regularly updated on her welfare .
My only worry is the laundry! Clothes missing although all named . Other residents clothes put in my sister in law's wardrobe, which I do return . I do think a bit more care could be taken with this .
Overall
I have no major complaints. Thank you .

PG is a wonderful nursing home with loving caring professional staff.
From the moment you walk in, it's welcoming warm friendly staff make both visitors and residents feel at home.
My lovely Mum has settled in here right from day 1, ( she has been here for 10 months now ) she's very happy and all
of the staff are excellent, caring, and they always have a smile and time to chat. Giving us such a peace of mind and the best care for Mum that we could ask for.
Very Grateful for a fab team.
Well done everyone. Xx

I am very happy to provide a very positive review of Peverel Green Care Home. My aunt has been a resident for just over a year and she sadly passed away this week. During the time that she was a resident, we always found the home clean and tidy, and the staff friendly and attentive. We have been impressed
with the facilities and the activities provided for the residents which we know my aunt used to enjoy. In particular, for instance, we were able to celebrate birthdays in a private space at the home which we enjoyed. Most importantly, we feel that the care provided by the nursing staff was always provided with respect and consideration, and we always felt that my aunt was looked after with care and professionalism. We would certainly recommend this home as an excellent place to provide care for elderly residents.

I was a resident for only two weeks, recovering from a hip replacement operation. The care home is run very professionally; staff are attentive and kind, and made me feel most welcome. Although there were only 6 or 7 residents, I feel that everyone is very caring, and should work well once the home
is full. Organisation is excellent and professional; I felt very well looked after and particularly enjoyed the activities!

The staff were friendly and helpful. They treated the residents with dignity and respect. We, there were four of us who visited a resident, were offered tea and coffee and cake. Since we had travelled over an hour to visit the relative the refreshments were most welcome. The use of the small lounge
meant we could have a good conversation with the resident. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning in the hot weather.

My sister arrived at Beachcroft House in a distressed state and it is good to see her slowly but surely adjusting to her new surroundings. I have found the staff to be friendly and approachable and the home well ordered with a calm atmosphere. My sister find s her room a peaceful haven where she feels
secure. The staff and particularly the activities coordinator have encouraged her to leave her room and engage with other residents. She particularly enjoys the music and I have been impressed with the variety on offer. This, along with other activities, are all great for lifting her spirits and building her confidence.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I think my brother is in a good place. He 's in a different situation from most residents in Sycamore in that he has a severe physical immobility and absolutely no cognitive issues. He loves to talk with all and anyone, staff, residents, visitors. Happily there are many opportunties to do that in
Sycamore, though i'm sure he could handle more! I and the rest of his family are very happy with his care and welfare and friendly support of Sycamore staff. He is doing well! (Re. food: excellent cakes!)
What I'd like to see is a simple way to take him (or anyone) out of the Home through the gate directly to Bear Road, eg. to go upto the Racecourse, without having to go all round Fitzherbert. That is a long wheelchair drive or push with an extra big climb.

As always I have nothing but praise for the management and all staff at Sycamore Court. The care given to residents is first class and they are treated with dignity and respect. Under the head chef, the food is marvelous with a large range of choices. The building is light, bright and very well maintained
and the residents are encouraged to enjoy a range of activities both collectively and personally in their rooms.

Martins House

from S C (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 June 2026
Submitted via Postal Card • Report
Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
Mum moved to the home in early 2023. The staff were so understanding and patient, and we soon had the 'old mum' back for a while. She wasn't the easiest of residents; her strong will and wry humour were understood too. When the end came in late 2025, the end-of-life care was the best we could have wished
for. All of the staff were so professional and caring. All her family will be forever grateful for the care Mum received in those last couple of weeks. Thank you, Martins House and all the staff!
Reply from Julie Farmer, Home Manager at Martins HouseThank you for sharing such a heartfelt review about your mum's time at Martins House.

It's lovely to hear that the team took the time to understand her personality, her sense of humour and what made her uniquely her. We know that those relationships are so important, and it's wonderful to know that you were able to see glimpses of the "old mum" after she moved in.

We're also grateful for your kind words about the care and support provided throughout her time with us.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Wishing you all the best,
Julie

I visited half a dozen care homes before deciding on this one, because: I found the team to be welcoming, sensitive to residents needs, enabling and pragmatic in relation to resident choices.
The Home was clean, with very good facilities and neither too crowded / busy nor too quiet.
Mums transition
to the home from hospital was well managed and helped through the flexibility and thoroughness of the home manager.
Reply from Lisa Blencowe, Home Manager at Sycamore CourtThank you for sharing this, it's really lovely to hear.
We know how much thought goes into choosing the right care home for a loved one, so it means a great deal that Sycamore Court stood out to you. We're extremely pleased that your mum's move from hospital was made as smooth as possible and that the support and flexibility of the team helped during that transition.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

St. Stephens:
* provide our parent with the independence that they can handle and the support that they need.
* update us in a timely manner about any concerns / observations.
* provide engaging entertainment and activities.
* staff are friendly and informative, and available to answer questions
/ provide extra support if needed.

We appreciate the above which has resulted in the appetite of our parent improving, and can see that they enjoy their meals, as well as the provision of coffee / tea / juice / water, cakes / biscuits / fruit in between meals.

Thank you St. Stephens

Reply from Jeanette Matthews, Home Manager at St Stephen'sThank you for taking the time to share this feedback. It's lovely to hear that your parent is enjoying life at St Stephen's Care Home and that you feel supported and informed as a family.
As a team, we work hard to get the balance right between encouraging independence and providing support when it's needed, so it's especially rewarding to hear that this has had such a positive impact. I'm also delighted to hear that your parent is enjoying their meals and the activities on offer.
Thank you again for your kind words. I know they mean a great deal to our whole team.

Triangle Care Home

from A T (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 June 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I cannot praise the staff at The Triangle highly enough as you won't find a more dedicated and helpful team anywhere else. We looked at a number of very different care homes when selecting a care home for my mother and this one stood out immediately as being the most welcoming and genuinely caring
about the comfort and wellbeing of their residents. It's not about having a posh building, scenic views or having snazzy facilities - it's about the care team and their approach to the care of the residents. We looked at some seriously high end care homes and were shocked to notice staff members scrolling on their phones in the lounge areas when they were meant to be supervising residents and a serious lack of one-to-one care. The Triangle is the complete opposite and being a smaller home it's such a friendly environment where residents are treated like family. My mother seems to have settled in well there and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Reply from Julie Daley, Home Manager at Triangle Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback.
It means a great deal to hear that The Triangle Care Home stood out to you for the things that matter most. While every home is different, we firmly believe that it is the people who make a home, and we're so pleased that our team's warmth, dedication and genuine care came across from the very beginning.
Knowing that your mother has settled in well and feels at home here is wonderful to hear. Thank you again for your recommendation and for placing your trust in us.
Best wishes,
Julie

My husband was cared for in the Triangle Care Home for 4 months before his death at the end of April. I have nothing but admiration for the staff who treated him with compassion respect good humour and dignity. He had to best possible care in a friendly and homely environment. I could not wish for better
end to his happy life.

Sycamore Court

I am so pleased my mother has settled so well at Sycamore Court. The staff go above and beyond, they are kind, positive and really take the time to know what makes my mum happy.
Whenever we visit it has a homely, comfortable feel. It is very welcoming, clean and warm. The food is great and my mum eats
more there than she has for years!
My only reservations are the maintenance have not put my mum's pictures up and they could maybe take the residents outside more, but this is nothing compared to the relief I feel to see my mum so well presented, happy and peaceful. I love the place and thank all the staff for the work they do. I am so happy my mum is there. I can't imagine anywhere better. I don't have to worry about her constantly anymore. That is priceless. Thank you to everyone who works there from the bottom of my heart.
