Emberbrook Care Home

from John R (Husband of Resident) published on 5 May 2026

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
The home is very clean, staff smart and polite and professional. My wife is physically and mentally disabled and I'm sure demanding for the staff. She is confined to her room for long periods unfortunately and probably the only way that could be improved is if the staff could get her up daily and move
her around the home This would be labour intensive and I appreciate the difficulty. I also wish there was a communication system between the room and staff but again appreciate this could put extra stress on the staff. Ideally it would be an improvement if there was cctv in the bedroom in order that it could be supervised 24/7

I would highly recommend Manor House care home. My Mum spent ten months there before she passed away at the end of March 2026. I am so grateful to all of the staff at the home for all they did for Mum. A culture of kindness and compassion is clear in all interactions with residents. There are interesting
and stimulating activities to take part in - Mum especially enjoyed craft, dominoes and balloon tennis - and the activities coordinator goes the extra mile to make sure everyone is involved. The rooms are clean and bright, and feel just like a home from home. I will always be thankful for the dignity and care offered to Mum at the end of her life by both day and night staff at this exceptional home.
We couldn't have found a better place for Mum to live.

Murrayfield has provided great support to my relative since he entered the home in 2022. There is always an atmosphere of love and friendliness, and the level of care that is provided by the carers and nurses is always heightened by the compassion, love and respect that they show to both the residents
and visitors. They listen well to concerns and treat each resident as an individual, and allow them as much autonomy as they can (depending on each person's capability). They communicate any issues promptly and always seem to value my input. I feel my relative is safe in their care. This is very important as his needs are very high. Whenever I visit, he is generally clean, well-fed and content. I am so grateful.

I would like to extend my recognition to all the staff at Beachcroft care home based in London W2. For nearly 10+ years, my Gran has been in the care of this home. My Gran suffers with Dementia, she can at times be a joy, but at other times her behaviour can be challenging.
However, the staff have
maintained to be hardworking, kind, caring and at times amazingly patient. Also, the staff can only behave in this manner because there is good management in place.
I would like to express my gratitude, and I am thankful to all the carers for their support. Once again, I am appreciative of the care and commitment of the whole team.
Once again, thank you so much for the continued support of Beachcroft House Care Home. I am grateful to you and all the staff at Beachcroft Care Home.

I visit my elderly brother on a weekly basis and find that the staff are always friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. There has been a lot of updating going on and despite this it appears that things have carried on as usual. I wouldn't if there could be more entertainment - not sure.
I
feel it's a very safe environment for my brother.

My Mother was moved to Beachcroft House due to mobility issues and and she could not have been in a better place. The Manager and Staff made sure her room had all the right equipment for her needs before she arrived. The staff treat residents with dignity and kindness and the atmosphere is fun and positive. They
genuinely care about the residents happiness and want them to feel like they are family. Two very special people, Adeola and Mary went above and beyond and treated Mum as if she was their own Mother. They made her feel at home and they regularly kept us updated on her health which we very important to us. We never worried about her safety or comfort as we knew she was in good hands.
Sadly my Mother passed away but the greatest comfort we had was that both Adeola and Mary were with her when she left this world as she loved them both. We are eternally grateful to them and to Beachcroft for being a loving home for my Mother in the last few months of her life.

The staff are excellent, very caring and thoughtful. The care home is meticulously clean and always smells fresh. The food is excellent quality and fresh. Mum always looks really comfortable and clean. She has a great relationship with the staff who are all so lovely and caring.
