My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting a close friend who has recently moved into Bradshaw Lodge. In past years, we have had considerable experience with care homes due to our elderly parents. We can honestly say, without doubt, that Bradshaw Lodge is the best establishment that we have ever visited.
Clearly, the aim is to build a warm community and close interaction between residents and staff, and the result is a relaxed, happy environment with absolutely superb facilities.

My wife and I were highly recommended to Stowe Mount from a close friend. We booked my mother in law here for 1 week whilst we took a short holiday. After caring for mother for the last 6 years, we were a little worried for her wellbeing. We had nothing to worry about whatsoever. Mother was treated
like a princess. The care home is beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and a tentative, food incredible and mother even joined in with the activities the care home puts on for all the residents. I can't recommend Stowe Mount highly enough. 10*......AMAZING. Thank you to every staff member.

My aunt appreciates the care and being treated with dignity regarding the personal care she receives and has settled in well.

I never fail to be impressed at Somer Valley and rate it excellent in all areas. All the staff have been helpful and understanding. It is a pleasure to visit. The home is designed so that you can easily walk around it and therefore take exercise, even on a rainy day. There are plenty of places to sit
and have a coffee and a home made treat. It is great to see my mum being as independent as possible, with her own beautiful room, knowing that help is always at hand. The whole team are amazing.

My husband very recently spent one week at Tudor House for respite care. He was warmly welcomed by the staff and soon settled in enjoying the company of others but most importantly he was well care for during his stay. From our very first visit to look around Tudor Home we could see that there was a
relaxed and warm environment that residents were experiencing. The general manager was attentive to both my husband's needs and to mind, so that the week's respite would benefit us both. I have no hesitation in my husband returning for a further respite period.

Lovely staff. Extremely friendly and caring.
Really nice care home. They do the best they can with the tools they have.
For improvement I'd suggest more staff to support the demand from patients. Dementia is extremely challenging and it puts strain on the residents as well as visitors.
More support
is needed for staff and visitors but otherwise it's lovely.
Feel more activities would be good.
And regular towels being provided in bedrooms which we asked for multiple times.

The staff at Dale Brook went out of their way to help me when emergency repairs needed doing in my mums bungalow. She went in for daycare and had a lovely day. Everyone was so kind and helpful to both her and me, and made a very stressful situation so much easier. She enjoyed her lunch and coffee and
cake! I cannot speak highly enough of Dale Brook. Since it opened last year, we've also enjoyed coffee mornings and community activities there on a regular basis
Reply from Donal McFadden, General Manager at Dale BrookMany thanks for your kind review Helen. We were very happy to help and hope to see you soon!

Fairwood Fields

My mother stayed at Fairwood Fields for two weeks as respite care following a recent health problem. I was impressed with the facilities and care provided all round, staff, food and general environment. As a retired GP I have visited many care homes over the years and I think it fair to say that I have
never been in one that provided a better level of service.
I was particularly impressed with small things such as providing a daily newspaper, obtaining my mother's preferred evening drink and offering a range of extra activities such as flower arranging and a cheese and wine evening. Keep up the good work!
Reply from Lynn Robinson, General Manager at Fairwood FieldsThank you for your kind words. We are very proud of our facilities and care that is provided at Fairwood Fields. It was a pleasure to be able to support your mother after her recent health issues. We are please that your mother enjoyed her stay and the activities that where provided in her 2 weeks that she was with us. We agree that some times it is the little things that make such a difference such as a preferred drink, newspapers and providing activities which our residents choose. We hope to meet your mother again.

A very prompt and welcoming response to an initial tour and application for my younger brother - quick assessment. Organised transport from hospital and welcoming engagement and care plan. Already showing signs of mobility and interaction with staff and other residents. Promising to be a very good choice
and late life experience for my brother.
