Review of Stirlings from Valerie T (Daughter of Resident) published on 28 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Mum was a resident of Stirlings for 2 years and the staff were lovely, they spent time getting to know Mum and engaged her in activities when possible.
Mum was fiercely independent and the staff were respectful of that and gave Mum the space she sometimes wanted.
Unfortunately Mum needed specialist nursing support and after a spell in hospital we needed to find a nursing home.
We were very sad that we had to move Mum and are very grateful for the 2 years of support that the staff at Stirlings provided both to us and Mum. We felt that we were leaving a whole family and friends behind.

Thank you so much to all the staff, it was not an easy journey but you made the best of it.

Reply from Helen Dearing, On behalf of the team at Stirlings

Whenever I vist O.S.H. to see my mother in law I always get a warm welcome from the Staff on duty. On the way to M.I.L. room there is usually an activity taking place in the Atrium which the residents really enjoy. Jeff is brilliant with everybody. MIL's room is spacious, and always kept clean. The staff on Pittville suite go out of their way to ensure all residents are looked after amazingly. The events team are amazing, so creative. The new display in reception is outstanding. Such fine detail has gone into the display it really is a work of art. The team put on many events, something for everyone. Reception staff are welcoming helpful and always smiling. The domestic staff are polite, chatty and keep everything clean + tidy. Food is excellent.

Review of Madley Park House from Clare S (Daughter of Resident) published on 23 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My Mother is a new resident at Madley Park - she has only been here for 3 weeks. She is settled in and I am very pleased with everything. The care and support is excellent and everywhere is so clean + tidy. We are all encouraging my Mum to socialise more but this may take more time. Her room is so lovely - A new home for her. It is wonderful knowing she is being cared for and is safe.

Review of Madley Park House from Stuart M (Son of Resident) published on 23 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Having had no experience of care homes, Madley Park House took my mother in on an emergency. I have been taken aback by it all. For my mother she can now be well looked after, cared and supported. It will bring her an improvement in her wellbeing that has contributed to poor health. For the family it gives comfort she can be looked after by carers who know what to do. Finally, with your care we know our mum is in the best place. Thank you.

Review of Lent Rise House from B B (Daughter of Resident) published on 22 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Both my parents had to go into temporary respite care at fairly short notice whilst repairs were carried out that their home. Lent Rise House facilities and staff were excellent. Mum and Dad were treated with great respect and kindness for the whole of there stay. The staff were very attentive and also extended that kindness and reassuring support to us a family in what was a very stressful time. Very clean comfortable accommodation with lots of activities and beautiful lounge and gardens for them to enjoy also. Medical support was excellent and we cannot speak highly enough of the staff.

A big belated thank you everyone at Lent Rise whose care and kindness to us all was wonderful we cannot speak highly enough of the facilities care and support they gave us during a very stressful time.
