My mother lived in Otterburn for 3 and a half years with advanced dementia, and I cannot speak highly enough of the carers. Mum was always clean and was fantastically cared for, with nothing being too much trouble for the friendly and patient staff.
My sister and I will always be grateful for the

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
I have been impressed by the way that my nephew has settled into the accommodation, much of which is due to the time that staff are spending with him. This has been a significant contrast to previous placements, whether its hospital or other supported housing, where he has had to compete to for attention
and where, at times he's been restricted. I have known him for 35 yeras.
Reply from Jo Hemmingway, Marketing and Communications Officer at Laurel PlaceDear Joy, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Its great to hear your feedback. Our highly skilled, nurse-led care teams offer an integrated level of support that goes beyond what's typically available in other care settings and specialist units. We're glad to hear that your nephew is now settled into his new home. We'll pass on your kind words to the team!

My dad has been here for a few weeks after a long period in hospital, he has very challenging behaviour due to his complex medical needs. The staff have been fantastic in helping Dad to settle, treating him with care and dignity, nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is very clean, the choice
of meals is very good, residents can choose what they like, Dad has had the opportunity to go out with the activity team on the mini bus which he has enjoyed. A lovely welcome awaits family when you visit.

Since our brother moved to this home we cannot believe the high level of care and support he receives on a daily basis.
Every member of staff we have met are so friendly, not only to our brother but family members too.
He has been in other homes however Roseside, we feel, is above and beyond.of
what weve experienced in the past.
The staff are so kind and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Plus its immaculate and the food always looks lovely.
We cant thank all the staff enough and would highly recommend this home.
Reply from Chloe Woodhall, Digital Marketing Manager at RosesideThank you so much for your lovely review. We're so glad to hear our colleagues are friendly and kind, and about how immaculate Roseside is! We'll be sure to pass your comments on to them.

Our son Paul has been in Ribble View for just 2 years. The staff at Ribble View are all to be congratulated for care and support of the residents, from the cleaners, to carers, nurseries, physio staff, kitchen staff all provide superb commitment to making life as good as it can be, they always try to
get the residents involved in various activities coming up with different ideas to stimulate them. The only box we have not put is value for money.. Paul is being paid for by the NHS so that cost is not known to us.

My review relates to more than October 2025.
Mark, my brother, has been very poorly and was in hospital for weeks.we as a family we're asked to attend the hospital to say our last goodbyes on a few occasions.i requested that he go back to Edgewater as I knew he would get back to as healthy as he could
be.the manager and staff have worked miracles with mark he was on a syringe driver when he got took back to the home and wasn't weight bearing or eating much they worked with mark and they have been amazing Mark is now up and about on his own walks with a frame.he is now back to going out to play pool bowling and is in good spirit everytime we visit.Mo one of the staff arrange for mark to visit our mum she is now in a care home.it made all the difference to Mark and mum to see each other these acts we cant thank them enough.mark would not be here today if it wasn't for the manager accepting him back and the staff determination thank you all Tracey x

Lakeview is a lovely home to live in, staff are like family and are so supportive and caring towards service users. We can have a laugh and banter but they're also there when you need to be serious and need the support and encouragement.
During my time here I have achieved so much from not being able
to walk and suffering really badly with my mental health they have helped and supported me through this. I now walk with one crutch, access the community on my own and have many community engagements, I am part of the local church as a lay minister, a member of the community choir. None of this would be possible without the support of the staff here. They've also supported me in my educational journey in my degree in Biomedical Science of which I'm in my second year.
We are now looking at moving on and I never thought this would be possible but with the staff and the amazing support of management Rob and Emma this is now achievable.

When visiting, the care home has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Almost without exception, the staff are courteous and friendly. My son's complex needs are attended to efficiently and with compassion. My only negative comment would be that my requests to have an urgent review regarding my son's
deteriorating condition haven't come to anything. It's quite possible this is due to poor response from the psychiatric and medical agencies involved in his care.

My mum has recently moved to leger grove after suffering 2 strokes and a long period of time in hospital and I honestly couldn't be happier with care she is receiving.
She needs 1:1 specialist care, and the staff have been absolutely amazing . They offer a high standard of person centred care they
are supportive, patient, so kind and genuinely caring. They truly understand mums needs They listen to any suggestions we may have and always want to work together to get things right for mum.
The home itself is beautiful always spotless, calm and welcoming, with lovely gardens which help with mums well being.
The only small thing that seems to be finding its balance is the food, sometimes it's great sometimes not quite as consistent. Although I'm confident this will improve.
Overall I am grateful to everyone at leger grove for the care and warmth they have shown mum it's such a relief to know she is being well looked after with kindness and dignity. I would highly recommend leger grove.

In my opinion I had no concerns with her care. To the best o fmy knowledge her desires were met in person centered way for example staff used to arrange for Caribbean food when my sister requested it in the home. Overall, I am really happy with cleanliness of Greenacre Park. My sister's last moments
were spent really well at Greenacre Park. The staff are very caring and supportive.

My dad has been welcomed with open arms since day one, and has been such a relief to our family that he is getting the care and support he needed. Nothing is too much hassle any member of staff will go above and beyond to facilitate any needs or preferences. To us it feels like Dad is at home away from
home and treated like a part of the family. More than care, we feel loved.
