When visiting, the care home has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Almost without exception, the staff are courteous and friendly. My son's complex needs are attended to efficiently and with compassion. My only negative comment would be that my requests to have an urgent review regarding my son's
deteriorating condition haven't come to anything. It's quite possible this is due to poor response from the psychiatric and medical agencies involved in his care.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum has recently moved to leger grove after suffering 2 strokes and a long period of time in hospital and I honestly couldn't be happier with care she is receiving.
She needs 1:1 specialist care, and the staff have been absolutely amazing . They offer a high standard of person centred care they
are supportive, patient, so kind and genuinely caring. They truly understand mums needs They listen to any suggestions we may have and always want to work together to get things right for mum.
The home itself is beautiful always spotless, calm and welcoming, with lovely gardens which help with mums well being.
The only small thing that seems to be finding its balance is the food, sometimes it's great sometimes not quite as consistent. Although I'm confident this will improve.
Overall I am grateful to everyone at leger grove for the care and warmth they have shown mum it's such a relief to know she is being well looked after with kindness and dignity. I would highly recommend leger grove.

In my opinion I had no concerns with her care. To the best o fmy knowledge her desires were met in person centered way for example staff used to arrange for Caribbean food when my sister requested it in the home. Overall, I am really happy with cleanliness of Greenacre Park. My sister's last moments
were spent really well at Greenacre Park. The staff are very caring and supportive.

My dad has been welcomed with open arms since day one, and has been such a relief to our family that he is getting the care and support he needed. Nothing is too much hassle any member of staff will go above and beyond to facilitate any needs or preferences. To us it feels like Dad is at home away from
home and treated like a part of the family. More than care, we feel loved.

I have only been at Kingfisher 7 months and have been welcomed by staff and service users. The level of care is very high from house keep, support worker and management. Everyone is professional, caring and skillful. The OT programmed is exceptional their plenty to do. This is my forever home where
I can retire in a safe caring home.

My daughter has been a resident at Hamilton Springs Care Home for a good while now. I am astounded at how quickly she has settled in but i feel that is down to the excellent care she has received from excellent staff. They know how to manage her however she presents. I cannot thank them enough and can
certainly recommend them to care for your loved ones.

My friend moved in to scotia a few months ago and she never wanted to go into a "smelly old people's home to rot" her words.. after starting off in an awful place and them quickly getting rid of her I felt so upset for my friend every time I visited she was upset but since moving into scotia
she is back to her old self, happy, sociable and I can honestly say it's a home such a lovely atmosphere and lovely staff who genuinely care, she is always doing something and I can only thank them for not being the "smelly old people's home" and she certainly isn't rotting she's thriving! Thank you scotia for making my childhood friend feel settled.

My sister has complex needs, this means that she requires a lot of care.
Spoke with the manager and arranged a visit. My first thought on my visit was how lovely all the staff and management were. So after I had a look around and finally getting the funding for my sister to move in. The staff couldn't
do enough to help me to arrange my sister's move and the Manager even went to the care home where my sister was staying to get her medication and care plans that hadn't been given to me. Since moving my sister to Marmaduke she is becoming more relaxed and has really taken to the staff, all the staff are friendly very welcoming and knowledgeable about my sister's complex needs. There is activities daily and staff try to engage my sister into doing activities. I highly recommend Marmaduke, it is a fabulous run Home with staff who go out there way to give my sister and other residents the best possible life they can have. Marmaduke is bright, spacious and an inviting place to live.
