The care my dad receives is outstanding. The home is spotless. The carers are amazing. My dad has complex needs and his carers take it all in their stride. It is like a little family and is more like your own home rather than a care home. I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to look after
dad.

Recently my dear friend passed away after 18 years of living at Dearnevale. I would like to commend the team at Dearnevale for the care and compassion that they provided from the beginning to the very end. My friend was in services from being a child and never truly felt like he belonged until he come

We have found Dearnevale to be the best place for our daughter, its well staffed and they all care for her very well. The management are always approchable if we have anything we have anything to discuss. The place is clean and well maintained. Our daughter is happy here and has a good relationship
with many staff dispite her complex care needs and knows their names.
Reply from Chloe Woodhall, Digital Marketing Manager at DearnevaleWhat a lovely review to read. Thanks so much for your feedback, we pride ourselves on our open culture, beautiful home and colleagues that truly care, and it's great to see your, and your daughters experience matches this!

If I could aware 10 stars to Dearnevale I would. The care my loved one recieves is absolutly outstanding, he is happy here which is so important. The standards kept at Darnevale out class the first carehome he stayed at. Without, Dearnevale I really don't know how I'd cope with life as I can't care
at home for the needs he needs. Dearnvale has given life back to us all concerned.

What can I say about my husband's care home. From the minute you walk through the door it feels like a second home. From staff in the reception, management the care staff, the cleaners, skills team, everyone. Everybody treats me and my family with such respect and friendliness. I feel part of the family,
the care they give my husband Paul and others is second to none, treating every person with individuality, respect and dignity. I don't know where I'd be without them. I call them Paul's Angel's. Everything is outstanding and the little touches are amazing.

Everyone at Dearnevale are outstanding, and they go above and beyond for care and needs. I couldn't thank everyone enough for the care they provide for my mum. One of the best care homes in Barnsley. Hillside Court

My mother who has dementia has been a resident at Hillside Court for approx 18 months now. From the very beginning she had a warm welcome and has had exemplary care from all the staff. The home itself is very clean, modern yet homely. I often visit at meal times, which are plentiful and look and smell
delicious. Drinks and snacks are available at all times. Mum can be very difficult but the staff are so patient and kind with her. She is also, weather permitting, taken out on trips or shopping, nothing is too much trouble. It is the first time in 5 years that I, as a family member, have been able to relax knowing that Mum is well looked after. We recently visited when the Xmas party was on and they had a live female singer who got all of us up dancing including Mum, what a wonderful afternoon. My husband worked in a care home and stated that Hillside Court is a huge improvement on where he worked.
Reply from Jenna Wood, Marketing Manager at Hillside CourtThank you so much for your kind review. We're really pleased to hear how well your mum has settled at Hillside Court and that you feel confident and reassured about her care.

My husband was a resident at Maypole Grove for 2 years and left 3 weeks ago. He was placed here because of his complex needs including a tracheotomy. He was well cared for and because of the GP's weekly visits any infections or problems were caught early which probably avoided hospital stays. In the
last year he also received regularly physio which was a great help. We will both have lasting fond memories of the people we met during his stay.
