  • Care Homes Owned by Healthcare Homes Group Ltd
At Healthcare Homes staff are compassionate, committed and caring. They are selected for these values and the management team do everything they can to support staff to help them to fulfil their promises to you.

The team treat everyone they care for just as they would a member of their own family; every member of staff is treated as a family member too.

The homes are warm, friendly places. They range from rural Vicarages and Manor Houses to urban modern builds. Healthcare Homes doesn't do cookie cutter!

Once you have decided that a move into one of their care homes is the right decision for you, they do everything they can to get to know you well so that they can design a care plan that is completely bespoke and unique.

They take the time to find out about your care needs and preferences: the types of hobbies and activities you would enjoy; what you have done in your lifetime and what routines you are used to; what you do and don’t like to eat; and much more. They then design and document a care plan so that everybody involved in your care knows exactly how you would like to be cared for.

And they provide much more than care homes. They also offer wrap-around 24-hour live-in care; homecare packages that adapt to your needs; and specialist care for people with more complex needs. And when your needs change, their care can change to meet your needs.

Park House Nursing Home

from S M (Grandson of Resident) published on 2 April 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Since my grandma was moved into park house care home, I couldn't have asked more from anyone who works in the building, the health care practitioners, nurses and carers have insured she was made comfortable and welcome from the minute she got here. It is such a relief from my perspective to know she's
being looked after in the best way possible. At times it's been challenging as a family, but we all sleep soundly knowing she will be looked after and loved by all the staff. We will be forever greatful to park house care home, and would recommend anyone who is in need of 24/7 care, to come and stay here. Many thanks, Sam.
Reply from Mungwaluku Mupatu, Manager at Park House Nursing HomeThank you very much for your valued feedback. Thank you for your ongoing engagement with staff and support for your grandmother. Your wonderful feedback will be shared with the staff team who will be thrilled with the kind words.

Oaklands House

from David B (Nephew of Resident) published on 2 April 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Our aunt moved to Oaklands over three years ago.
She felt at home immediately and never regretted the move. The staff have been really kind, thoughtful and efficient since day one and she soon made many friends amongst them. They are always happy and cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. She was
always commenting on how wonderful they were and assuring us that we never need worry about her as they would always look after her.
This was a great reassurance to us as we both live several hours drive away and could not visit very often.
The home had a seemingly ineffectual temporary manager for a time recently and it is a credit to the administration and staff in the home that the standards did not slip noticeably. Now the home has a new manager who is proving to be excellent.
The staff always made us welcome and feel at home. We were so lucky to find such a wonderful place for our aunt to see out her days and we are immensely grateful for all the care and attention she received.
Reply from Kelly Pearson, Home Manager at Oaklands HouseThank you for such kind words , all of our staff go above and beyond for our wonderful residents and i will share your kind words with them all.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum moved in to Bilney Hall several weeks ago. She has got her sparkle back, before she was very isolated and was unable to leave her home. Now she has made friends, and thinks all of the carers and staff are lovely. She's joining in with all of the activities, eating foods that she hasn't had in along
time, and everytime I visit her she looks so well and happy. Mum says it feels like home, and I couldn't have asked for her move to have gone better. The staff/carers are always friendly when I visit and I feel so much better knowing she is so well looked after by people who really care.

Mum has had respite stays and rehab stays elsewhere but without a doubt Sandown Park have the best staff of all. Other stays may have been more costly, but none match up to Sandown. The compassion and care shown is exemplary. We cannot fault any area of her care and now she is there permanently- the
family cannot be happier.

Nothing is too much trouble and they take time to talk and listen to concerns of residents and visitors. They do everything they can to make residents feel loved and cared for. They are kind and encourage
all to take part in the activities on offer. My godfather is going on a visit to the cathedral, he wasn't sure about going, but the staff took time to put his mind at rest about the worries he had, small, caring home, highly recommended.

My family and I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the care and facilities at Foxearth since my mother moved in during August 2024. We are kept up to date regularly about my mother's care during visits to her and via phone and email. We regularly attend the relatives' meetings when all
aspects of the running of the home are discussed. The activities programme is a particular aspect of the home with which we are impressed.

I couldn't be happier with the care my dad receives here. The home has such a lovely, warm atmosphere and genuinely feels like a safe and happy place to live. The staff are incredibly caring and always so kind and patient. They are very amenable to Dad's individual needs and nothing ever seems too much
trouble.

It gives us real peace of mind knowing he is in a safe environment, surrounded by people who truly care. We're very grateful for the support and dedication of everyone at the home.

Reply from Jan Heti, Home Manager at Hillcroft HouseDear Andrew,

Thank you so much for your valued review. Dad is a wonderful gentleman and a pleasure to have in the home. We work hard to ensure our residents receive the care they deserve. Thank you also for being an amazing family too.

Kindest Regards

Cathrine

Shipdham Manor

Overall we found Mum's care was good particularly with a couple of staff members. When Mum became incontinent it took some time before she could be assessed and supplied with the necessary items to keep her clean and dry and to avoid the overriding smell of urine in her room. We did bring in Tena Ladies
underwear but don't believe these were regularly used. However once Mum was assessed this issue was resolved.
Mum seemed happy at Shipdham Manor therefore we were happy with how she was cared for in her last few years.

My wife has been staying at Ashley Gardens for the last 3 months and is very happy there. The nursing care is extremely good, nothing is too much trouble for when she needs help etc. All the carers and staff are so kind and will go the extra mile to look after her. I can't thank the care team enough
for the service they provide to keep her safe.

What a wonderful place for my mum to end her years. The staff a so lovely, gentle and attentive. They really do care and not just for the residents but the families too. We were always welcomed with a smile even our little dog 'crackers' was made to feel at home. The cleaners keep the place immaculate.
The food was of high quality and fresh. The respect and dignity they showed my mum at her end was priceless. Thank you for all you've done for us.

Avon Lodge Care Home provided excellent care for my mother-in-law. All staff were friendly, approachable and professional, with attention to detail. Food, services and facilities for both residents and visitors are of a high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are a good size and kept clean
and tidy. I can honestly say that I could not find a fault with the care home. All communication was prompt. A lovely, friendly and homely environment.

My sister was admitted to Ashley Court following discharge from hospital.
She was originally a temporary patient but is now a resident, which is a relief for me.
The nursing/carers and management are all very kind and caring. She now tells me she feels safe and is very happy there. Also, thank you
to the activities team.

From first arrival until the present day, the care home has treated my mum with the utmost respect. The staff all support her in ways that make her feel valued and a full member of the Home Meadow team. Care staff and those providing all personal, catering and activities are brilliant, as are the admin
team. My mum has felt very welcomed and settled in easily.
