preparations meant there were lots of activities going on that both of us were welcomed to. We were able to have Christmas lunch together. The staff worked so hard to ensure everyone was looked after. I have attended my first friends and family meeting and found it to be welcoming, supportive and informative. I have been impressed by the efforts made to get to know my husband despite communication difficulties. I chose Lochduhar as I understood it to be the best in the area and it has proved worthy of its reputation. I am grateful to the team for helping us both through this extremely difficult time.

could we appreciate the supportive, relaxed atmosphere but at the same time watchful awareness of the staff. Every staff member encountered, in all depts, have a possative effect on residence.
We were dreading the move, but now accept that our loved one is in the best place possible.

on & very aware of what's going on around them at any given time, I receive very good communication in relation to my mothers care, they are in touch as soon as there is anything they feel I need to know, I visit regularly & my mother is always so well turned out, clean & fresh, her room is immaculate, her clothes & belongings are well looked after, nothing goes missing from her room, the food is fantastic, there are lots of activities for the residents to take part in too if they wish, & staff really do go the extra mile to encourage residents & to include everyone, it also has extremely well cared for grounds. A truly fantastic & highly experienced team who give me total peace of mind.

on St Valentine's Day and thought the effort put in by all the staff to make it a celebration for residents and guests was amazing. The food and service would put a lot of restaurants to shame. All the little extra touches from the table decorations, Prosecco, chocolates, and heart shaped shortbread certainly made it feel like a very special occasion. I know the only complaint my father has is that there is too food much but he must be enjoying it he rarely misses a meal!

him. When I visit or call the staff are always there to let me know how he is, they take the time to talk to me, anything that he needs they always let me know or if he is unwell I am kept fully informed. I would definitely give Lochduhar ten stars as they thoroughly deserve it.
