Care Homes Owned by Barchester Healthcare Ltd in West Midlands

Mum has been in Barchester for 16 months.. settled into her new home fairly quickly.. a few teething problems but to be expected... However after three months mum was moved to another unit unbeknown to us which was rather unsettling for the family. She has however settled into her new unit and it is obvious that she is well cared for and loved.

And the courtesy cake and tea/coffee downstairs is a nice touch!

Fountains Care Home is truly exceptional. I am incredibly grateful to the whole team for the care, kindness and dignity they give my mum every day.

The staff are what make this Care Home. They are kind + considerate to the residents + their family at all times. Nothing is ever too much trouble + they make everyone feel welcome. Activities are great with visits + trips out. If there is ever even a small medical issue they get doctor/nurse to advise.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere that provides their relation with support, care + dignity.

I come over annually every year for the whole month of September from the Netherlands to Staffordshire to have my holiday and visit my longtime friends of 95 and 91 in Fountains Barchester in Shirley,I found the staff and carers very friendly and attentive,offering me coffee or tea in the lounge while waiting to be brought to see my friends,I come over every Sunday afternoon to see them,my visits were most pleasant,the residents are very well looked after

Dad (95yrs old) struggled when he lived on his own. He really needed care 24hrs @ day and we're very pleased that we got this at Harper Fields. He is well cared for, in warm* clean surroundings, seems to enjoy the food and occasionally live entertainments (although he's not really a joiner in activities-wise). His medical and care needs are met and he's in good spirits most of the time. *Some more airconditioning in hot weather would be appreciated.

We're so grateful to all the staff at Harper Fields for looking after Geoff in the final week of August 2026. This was Geoff's first respite care visit and we were a little nervous, but the friendliness and professionalism of the Harper Fields team were wonderful. Many thanks to Tobi for an initial visit, to Marc and team for wheelchair support, and to everyone in Harper Fields for making Geoff feel welcome, for the warm hospitality, the excellent laundry, the tasty meals and the delicious cake!

Their rooms, food, facilities are excellent at EB but its the staff who truly make this place. Caring, kind, trustworthy, considerate, patient, fun, friendly, professional - I could go on! My family & I can't thank them all enough for keeping our precious dad safe & helping the rest of us through some desperately difficult times. Xxx

After having my knee arthscroscopy surgery I Stayed at the Barchester Beaumont for several nights whilst I recovered. I was made to feel very welcomed and treated with respect and dignity at all times The staff members I interacted with were all very professional, polite and friendly. The meals I had during my stay were nourishing and well prepare along with pleasant presentation. The Service delivery from a management point of view was outstanding. I would definetly stay here again

The care and compassion both to Mom and the family was faultless.

Our mom grandma has been in Broadway Halls since February 2026 and overall me my brother and all the family are really pleased with the care she is receiving,she has settled in really well and the staff are all wonderful, easy to approach, friendly and they always act on things if we have any queries, like putting in place her pictures etc from home, she is dressed and up in lounge on an afternoon most of the time, at home despite carers going in would stay in bed in bedclothes, it's a breath of fresh air seeing her and gives us all piece of mind knowing she is being looked after and in a safe environment.

Iverley View has a real family feel, it has been the perfect residential setting for my mum.

I was very impressed with how my friend was treated after her operation. We were extremely pleased with the care and support during her stay. From the moment of arrival the staff were welcoming, kind and professional. They went out of their way to make everything comfortable and reassuring. The nursing care was excellent with staff showing genuine compassion, patience and respect at all times. Would definitely recommend

Facilities top notch.

We came for lunch today as my husband is coming back for respite soon. Wonderful welcome and staff remembered him. It's a lovely environment and he's happy to stay again we were served a lovely lunch.

Management & almost all staff were extremely helpful & helped with my recovery for which I am most grateful

On visiting a friend had lunch with her found staff and facilities very good and friendly

As a family a warm welcome always given by the staff when visiting the beautiful home and guidance received throughout relating to mum's care during her stay here. Compassion and comfort extended to the family in the weeks afterwards too.
