Special thanks to all the staff in Olton Floor for their excellent care and support for my brother over the past few weeks. Their patience and understanding has been outstanding and the family are incredibly grateful. Their support and kindness has been so very helpful. We cannot thank them enough for
their care. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Always cheerful and happy, we are so thankful that he is at Fountains and being treated with dignity and kindness. A fabulous Care Home, offering fantastic Care, with beautiful home cooked food in safe surroundings and best of all .. the wonderful staff. Thank you all.

No words can express how as a family how happy we were with Jeans care over the 4 ½ years she lived at Harper Fields. Jean had an accident in July 2021 and had to move to Harper Fields at short notice. From the first day Jean moved in she was well looked after. The staff there not only looked after
Jean but also us her family and we became part of their family. There were good days and not so good days with Jean and I am sure everyone knows there what we mean. We would like to thank each and every one of the staff at Harper Field for everything they did for Jean and us as a family as a whole up to the end, you are all worth your weight in gold..
Reply from Hayley Wilkinson, General Manager at Barchester Harper FieldsWe are so grateful that you have taken the time to complete this feedback. You know the team really cared for you all and were overwhelmed to receive this feedback. It was my husband Tonys 80th birthday weekend. What a brilliwnt weekend arranged by the staff and chef. A buffet on Saturday for the family and residents, and cake and fizz doe everyone on Sunday. The upstairs lounge was beautifully decorated with a magnificent balloon arch, thanks to Molly for that!
Photos of Tony and our family were put on the T.V screen, we cannot thank every member of our Iverley friends for going the extra mile and more fabulous memories made. Love them all very much.

My dad has been a resident at Iverley since May 2025. This weekend has been his 80th birthday. The staff at Iverley have gone all out to make it a special occasion for him and our family. From beautiful balloons and decorations, to a fabulous cake and party food. They've collated photos of dad into
a memory book and signed it with their best wishes. All the staff have shown dad love and affection and made the weekend so special for us all.
Reply from Amanda Morgan-Bennett, General Manager at Barchester Iverley View Care HomeThank you so much for your lovely review. We were absolutely delighted to celebrate your dads 80th birthday. Milestone birthdays are incredibly special, it was a pleasure to help create a celebration with such cherished memories. The memory book was a small way for us to show just how much your dad means to everyone, he is such a valued member of our Iverley View family. Thank you again for your kind words and for trusting us with your dad's care.

Staff always seem caring and helpful and see to know my sister's needs.
It would be useful to be updated with any change in her care to stop us panicking ie. using a syringe to adminster fluid as she is asleep such a lot.

Broadways Halls is certainly a lovely place in which to live. The lounges, rooms, dining rooms are very welcoming and comfortable; so much so that my 90year old mother described the place as looking like Buckingham Palace. To this I would add, however, that the true value of Broadway Halls lies in the
quality and dedication of the staff. Staff who knew how to get Dad to eat , staff who knew how to get him to join an activity , staff who made the extra effort not only with Dad but were also aware of challenges faced by our family. I could list countless exchanges with wonderful carers , administrators , maintenance staff and activity staff which demonstrated that here people were determined to do their very best for Dad. In so doing they provided priceless support for our family as a whole. Thank you Broadway Halls.

I had one week respite/ recovery in the Beaumont Care Home in Edgbaston. The staff (especially daytime - same night staff were less helpful and understanding) were friendly and competent. I was disappointed to discover on my last day that there was a programme of activities that might have been at interest
but I was not told about them. The food was excellent. Cleaning and condition of the room was only just adequate given the cost of a weeks stay. Overall it was the attitude of staff and the food that made my stay a pleasure.

My experience here has been extremely good. Staff and management always friendly and helpful. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. My room is of good size, comes with single bed with bedside cabinet wtih lockable draw and atop is a table lamp. The room also contains a desk type unit and a chest of
draws. There is an en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin. Finally there is a two door wardrobe. The home is 3 storys high. I am on the top floor. Each floor has its own common room, complete with TV. Each floor has it own dining room (not refectory) with a number of tables to suit size, each table seating 4 people. Laundry is collected on a daily basis and usually returned within 2 days.

My father has settled very quickly at Fountains. He is now eating well after a period prior to arriving of a poor appetite. Staff are caring and look to the needs of the residents.
The home is warm and welcoming, with spacious rooms.
My one issue is lack of activities to involve residents. My father
has little interaction with other residents and I feel that he is lonely at times.

As Maureen's sis-in-law, I found Fountains to be a very good residential home. The staff without exception have been so lovely, and the home is always very welcoming. There has been an ongoing issue with food, which I have to agree has not been good. Food is very important to residents as it is to everyone.
This has gone on for a long time, but now there is a new chef, hopefully this will improve.
