It was a real pleasure to bring my three young sons to visit their great-grandmother at Wheatlands. All the staff were eager to greet the children, offering them drinks & snacks and making sure we could all be comfortably sat together with my grandmother outside. My grandmother is clearly at ease and
well known in the home, the friendliness and care is tangible and it brought her a lot of joy to be able to welcome myself and the children in for a visit - it will be a precious memory for them to have had an enjoyable experience visiting this comfortable, accomodating, happy home.

I have been at mount house for 3 months recovering from a broken knee. the care I have received is excellent. the staff are all caring and helpful. the food is fine and there is a programme of daily activities. overall I would recommend mount house to anyone needing residential care

Field house is a lovely care home, my Grandma has been here for 3 years & it has been lovely to see her be so well cared for & happy here.
The staff are lovely & welcoming & Grandma has been very happy here.
Before her health declined Grandma enjoyed all the activities on offer & it was lovely to
hear all about them on our visits.

When my mother turned 100 Field House put on several celebrations - one for her fellow residents, a party for the family and a small lunch for friends. Communications were v. good and nothing was too much trouble. We had a v. festive weekend and I thank all concerned. The staff are wonderful - and many

My mother has been at Field House for 2 years now. She has been very happy ever since she moved in, her mood improved dramatically after living on her own throughout the weeks, (coming to stay with us only at weekends) The staff are friendly & jolly, and encourageing my mother to get involved in the

I visit friends at least once a month and always find the staff helpful and approachable on every visit. My friends say how nice it is to live there now that they no longer can look after themselves. They say that the food is lovely and plenty of it. Drinks are provided on a regular basic along with
cake in the afternoon.
There are nice views out of the windows of surrounding countryside
Residents are taken out on occasion to events in the town
There are numerous activities if they wish to join in.
Overall it looks a clean happy place to live out your final years.

I visit the home at least once a week. I find my friends well looked after. Staff are lovely - all helpful & caring.
The food always looks amazing, with good choices & lots of home made cakes & biscuits - visitors often included!!
I always recommend The Wheatlands when I can.

I have visited my friend almost weekly and it has been a real joy to see her within weeks of moving there after a long spell of hospital stays; recovered, restored to her old self. She has been personally cared for in many way. Not just physically with nurses and food but made to laugh - known for who
she is. Each visit I have witnessed the carers happy smiley faces. It is small enough to behave as a family. Wonderful, and I and my husband are very thankful.

My gran absolutely loves it here & has just celebrated her 84th birthday where she felt so spoilt and loved. After loosing my grandad last year this is the very best place for her and we cannot recommend Paula and the girls enough!

The care provided to my mother by the entire team at Field House has been exceptional. Since moving in, she's been settled, well cared for, and all her needs fully met. She's become very sociable and enjoys a wide range of engaging activities that always give us plenty to talk about when we visit. The
food is excellent, with great choice and quality, and staff happily accommodate individual requests. My mother mentioned to the chef that she hadn't had a Queen of Puddings in years - he made one the next day, and she said it was delicious. Those thoughtful touches mean so much. All staff are friendly, polite, and attentive, and the home is immaculate and welcoming with lovely communal areas, especially the upstairs lounge. Communication is excellent, with staff keeping families fully informed. Paula and Stephanie lead the team superbly - they are a credit to Barchester.

Very good care and support for my mother over the last 12 months. Most impressed with the staff ratios including weekends, range of activities and quality of food and personal care. My mother has had some health challenges in this period which can be expected given her age but the staff have communicated
and assisted us in managing these. Many thanks to all involved

Mum needed to be urgently moved from another home to Hagley Place and this was done fast and with care. Hagley Place very good, as I have highlighted, we (the visitors) are treated like a family and are kept informed/updated of any change to Mums condition. I would just mention though, that in my opinion,
another member of staff is needed at certain times, especially at meal times.

I have only been here a few days but my initial impression is highly favourable. The staff are kind, caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is good, tasty and well presented. The room is comfortable and for the first time in many months I have slept peacefully. I have no complaints
and would recommend Ottley House to anyone looking for R&R.

I have been visiting the Wheatlands, Much Wenlock for over a year and each time I have found, for over a year and time I have found everything wonderful ... lots of helpers, all of whom have been so caring and friendly, and the whole building has been so welcoming. I couldn't recommend it enough.
