I am so grateful for the care being given to my mother, she has blossomed since coming to wheatlands, it feels like a family and like she's been here for ages. thank you so much.

Staff are very helpful and kind. Everyone is lovely the activities are very good we join in as well food is also good and cake is so nice. Very clean. Rooms are a nice size as well.

Both parents were in the Mount. Mom passed away February & Dad 10th July. We can't thank all the Staff & manager enough. They looked after them both so well, nothing was too much. Also, they were so kind too us, which we will always remember. Thank you all again for everything you did.

The Wheatlands is a lovely place and the staff are caring and respectful The refurbishment is really lovely. However I'm not sure how you can justify the price you charge

Very good experience. Happy home, visitors always welcome, it feels like a proper home. There are some safety issues which hopefully will be solved. Not sure about value for money, staff efficient and friendly.

My overall review of Barchester Wheatlands Care Home was good. I spent 3 weeks respite there in May this year. The care was excellent by hard working staff with plenty of smiles! My bedroom was tastefully decorated but short on plug sockets and the toilet in the en-suite had dark staining in it, but was advised there were no cleaning products allowable under COSHH regulations to remove it, but otherwise standards of hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. The food was good, considering residents requirements and in generous amounts. Activities were varied for those who wanted to participate and run by enthusiastic and friendly staff members.

An open place with windows building, lovely room

It was a real pleasure to bring my three young sons to visit their great-grandmother at Wheatlands. All the staff were eager to greet the children, offering them drinks & snacks and making sure we could all be comfortably sat together with my grandmother outside. My grandmother is clearly at ease and well known in the home, the friendliness and care is tangible and it brought her a lot of joy to be able to welcome myself and the children in for a visit - it will be a precious memory for them to have had an enjoyable experience visiting this comfortable, accomodating, happy home.

I have been at mount house for 3 months recovering from a broken knee. the care I have received is excellent. the staff are all caring and helpful. the food is fine and there is a programme of daily activities. overall I would recommend mount house to anyone needing residential care

Before her health declined Grandma enjoyed all the activities on offer & it was lovely to hear all about them on our visits.

When my mother turned 100 Field House put on several celebrations - one for her fellow residents, a party for the family and a small lunch for friends. Communications were v. good and nothing was too much trouble. We had a v. festive weekend and I thank all concerned. The staff are wonderful - and many thanks to Caroline.

My mother has been at Field House for 2 years now. She has been very happy ever since she moved in, her mood improved dramatically after living on her own throughout the weeks, (coming to stay with us only at weekends) The staff are friendly & jolly, and encourageing my mother to get involved in the many fun & interesting activities they provide constantly.

Overall it looks a clean happy place to live out your final years.

As a family we cannot reccomend Hagley Place enough.

I have visited my friend almost weekly and it has been a real joy to see her within weeks of moving there after a long spell of hospital stays; recovered, restored to her old self. She has been personally cared for in many way. Not just physically with nurses and food but made to laugh - known for who she is. Each visit I have witnessed the carers happy smiley faces. It is small enough to behave as a family. Wonderful, and I and my husband are very thankful.
