Overall Experience

Staff are friendly, understanding + kind to residents + their family. I value the consultation with the main nurse who always keeps me informed of proposed medication changes + seeks my agreement. Also it is important that I'm informed of the difficulties which they have been good to resolve; frontotemporal

dementia is a complex + difficult condition for staff to manage + for myself to observe. I value the support that staff provide. There are lots of activities in the home, but the lack of a specific activities co-ordinator in the dementia area is noticeable. A part time O.T would make a huge difference. However most importantly I feel my husband is safe + well cared for.

Dancing
The varieation of the group ages and abilities
I had not been feeling well previously but went into see the group dancing & thoroughly enjoyed what they did. It gave me a big lift and made me feel much better. O they were so good.

Overall Experience

I've already left reviews, again terrible care home you can wait half an hour after pressing call button let's hope it's not an emergency. Waiting on my social worker and the council very slow can't believe the service been in 2 homes previously one for respite and hopefully going back to the one in

Dunfermline which puts to shame and cheaper also.

Overall Experience

There is a bit of a problem about getting my husbands clothes mixed up after being at the laundry, it's understandable as there are so many patients at the care home the staff look out for things for me, as long as he's looked after as they are doing that's all that really matters , he's very happy

dancing when Sam sings he's a great nurse by the way so good at his job they all are at Drummond Grange it makes my life easier to know he's being well looked after thanks to everyone.

Overall Experience

My daughter has been in Drummond Grange since June. She very settled. Staff are very good. She thrives on physical and mental activities. I would like to see her able to have more physio. It's always booked because it's so important for residents. The physio staff are very keen to bring the best

out of them and sometimes my daughter can't get in. I feel it's vital for her and admire the staffs dedication when she's in a session. I see such improvement the more she does and would certainly like for to do more.

Overall Experience

Last week we reported no internet in room my dad is 88 years old and having online streaming services is his life line. This has been intermitent since 20th June. The maintenance person came in whilst not on duty and tried everything to get it working. This is a connection issue with interet.
I came

into the home today and he has now been moved to another room Telly is working but alarm not its been reported and I expect it to be working within next 24hrd if not sooner your staff have been great.

Overall Experience

I would like to thank all the staff at Archview Lodge for the efforts they have made to get to know my husband in order to understand his needs and wishes and do their best to meet them, since he moved to Archview earlier this year. It was always going to be a life changing and difficult step for him

to take, but I know we made the right choice in Archview Lodge. Seeing the staff hard at work throughout the home brings home to me all the time just how professional and kind each one of them is, whether their role is nursing, caring, catering, activities, gardening, maintenance or management. There is always such a warm, friendly and personalised atmosphere throughout the home, and the surrounding woodlands and bird song always lift my husband's spirits and mine when we go out into the grounds.
