Overall Experience

At Springvale court we always feel very welcome when we visit my mam and it's always clean, tidy and very presentable every time.
The staff are always very helpful to always go that extra mile, my mam has been a resident since December last year and now it's her home sweet home and she loves being

there and as long as my mam is happy I'm happy

Overall Experience

Absolutely disgusted in the way that the staff in this home treat my mam and the states she was in when I visited her they never engaged with her and let her sleep for 6 years in a recliner chair and not encourage her to sleep in her bed.

Overall Experience

The staff at Washington Care Home are exemplary in the care they give to their residents.
My sister-in-law passed away on 15th July after 5 1/2 yrs in their care. Could not have asked for better care. They were by her side until the end. Thank you all. My brother is also in the same home receiving

all the care and attention he needs as my sister-in-law did. I visit every week. He is always clean and well dressed. He loves to flurt with the girls! It makes his day! Thank you for all you do for him. xx

Overall Experience

The staff are very professional, helpful,polite,nothing is too much trouble for them. Bedewell Grange is immaculate in all areas. The food always smells delicious with the menu on display showing a great variety of choice. The activities are well thought through from ever popular bingo to craft, gardening,

cooking etc. not to forget the entertainment.
Bedewell Grange is very safe and secure. My sister has been a resident for 15 months, she is very well looked after. I would recommend Bedewell Grange to anyone considering a care home, it is a difficult decision to make but the staff at Bedewell made the transition seamless and took the pressure from the family. Thank you for making a happy place for the residents

Throughout the month of June 2025 staff conducted themselves professionally and with a great attitude during a difficult time with my mother and events that unfolded. My mam has recently came to Springvale few weeks ago she is waiting to be assessed on her needs, that are getting met at this care home, she really loves it here and made many friends had many activities through out her stay staff are lovely no faults at all with Springvale, the gardens are well kept.

Before my mam came here she was not to happy but after staying here she has changed her full outlook much happier and hopefully she can stay

Overall Experience

My mother in law has advanced vascular dementia and all the staff including the management do an absolutely amazing job of managing an extremely difficult illness. She's much happier and settled now she's in this care home and we no longer have any concerns knowing she's in such good hands.

Overall Experience

First time I came she was asleep but people we left her with were taking and cheerful, even cuddled me before I left. Home looks lovely, tidy, nice and clean. Staff are so friendly and made us welcome. She was asleep at first but woke up and we got on great, first time for a long time. Second visit

she was so different, much more talkative.

Overall Experience

I first visited Washington Grange to 'suss' it out, a couple of months ago. All staff took time to show me around and explain everything. During that visit I knew it was the right place for my step-mum to be. Now that she is here, the whole family is very happy with everything at the Grange. Very friendly

and caring staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Great attention to every detail and people treated as individuals.

As it's my father's 100th birthday, the home has taken great strides in the care of my father and other residents. The time he's been at the home he has had the best attention possible, and care from the staff who in my opinion are fantastic.

I am writing this on behalf of my husband, who has dementia, and I am his wife and carer. I booked my husband for respite care at Appletree Grange while I was in hospital. This was his second visit. I cannot fault the manager & staff at Appletree who went out of their way to welcome my husband and make

him feel comfortable. He wasn't settling very well, and the staff showed care and compassion for which I was very grateful. I asked him if he liked the home, and he said the staff and food were lovely, but he didn't like his bed.

I would like to start by saying the staff are amazing with the very challenging job they do every day. The home has a new manager who is doing a very good job. The home is being refurbished which was in great need. The staff keep me informed of things I need to no about my mams care and her needs. They

do lots of activities with the clients fun stuff on top of everything else they do.

Overall Experience

I would highly recommend Bedewell Grange Care Home, our mam has dementia and has recently moved to the care home as a permanent resident. The residence is beautifully decorated and presented, it is spotlessly clean, mam has a lovely room with her own bathroom. Residents are encouraged to personalise

the rooms with photos and other belongings.
The staff are so friendly and the care they provide is exceptional, the food is lovely and mam is really enjoying this, in addition to meals the residents (and visitors) are provided with regular hot drinks and treats. There are regular activities, mam recently attended the VE Day celebration. There is also a salon providing hair, nail etc treatments the salon is open one day a week, mam has loved having her hair and nails done.
Mam feels safe, secure and familiar here and has made a couple of friends. My sister, brother & I are so happy that we chose Bedewell Grange for mam.
