The staff are extremely caring and always do there best to keep my mam safe and entertained. My mam is always complementing the staff and thanking them for looking after her. I particularly like their open door policy and you feel welcome whenever you visit. She also enjoys all her food. The home has recently been through a renovation which is beautiful now it has been finished.

My aunt has been a resident for more than three years. She is well treated particularly as she is not now mobile. The day staff are attentive but the night staff are exceptional. The management are particularly caring and go the extra mile.

A welcoming, friendly atmosphere. A good range of activities, with lots of encouragement to participate. Mam reports that the food is always good. There is evidence of quality main meals & regular snacks on visits. A personal touch, mam is known by carers, her needs understood

The care that my mother-in-law gets in Appletree Grange is unbelievable. The staff from top to bottom are so proffesional. They treat our family as though they are there own. The difference in my mother in law since she went in is amazing. She has put weight on, doesn't mention being ill anymore. The heat that the staff have to work in is so hard and when me as a visitor is only there a little time finds hard you never hear or see the staff moaning. Please give recognition to them all, Gail x

My mother has been a resident for 3 weeks. obviously it has been a very anxious time for all the family. We have been very happy with mums care. The staff are amazing. Nothing is a problem to any of them. Thank you for being so wonderful.

My overall experience at Appletree has been excellent I can leave my husband here and have no worries that he is well looked after and happy and that is very important to me and my family

It is sad for me at time when my mother doesn't remeber me some days but I feel she is in safe caring hands of the staff of Bedewell Grange care

I have found this home an excellent choice for my mother, considering she was in two hospitals prior to this, and her mental and physical health was very poor, she has excelled considerably. The staff realised my mother needed mental stimulation, and moved her to a different bedroom near the front desk. This more inspired my mother, she found the will to power to fight her illness, and now the staff have given my mother little jobs to do, which she greatly enjoys, especially her title of Ambassador for the home. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Their caring nature and empathy is a tribute to this home.

I can't fault the care he receives and any concerns are duly sorted. Visiting my friend twice a week I have seen staff came and go, but all staff are attentive to my friend.

We actually leave knowing our mother is safe and very well cared for at bedewell grange.

As it has all just been refurbished everything is new and clean.

I always felt that Cath was treated with care and kindness by all staff members. The end of life care was immaculate at all times. Also importantly the care and assistance to us as family was excellent. Cath was happy here and you all did your very best for her.

Couldn't fault Barchester at all. They go above and beyond to make every person they care for happy content and well looked after. The activities they provide every day keep my nana occupied and busy while also keeping her mobile and moving around. The change in her has been amazing as she's now a part of a home that's more like a family making me feel content in knowing she's happy thriving and well looked after.

Management and staff very helpfull and caring with Mam. Very helpfull with getting Mam in full time care. We feel Mam is safe and comfatable. Would be nice to see Mam taken out a bit i understand that shortage of staff but would be nice in warmer weather. Can i suggest maybes industeral air freshner in lounge & reception would give a good impression on entering the building

Looked at so many care homes for my mother came across beadwell grange and I knew this one was for her . Soon as you walked in you could feel the calm and friendly atmosphere everyone happy and friendly.my mother settled in well and it's lovely to see her with her spark back singing and dancing. Thanks to all the staff. It makes me happy that she's safe and well looked after .

We found out she was moving the Springvale Court. The Occupational Health Nurse revisited (April) and was amazed at how mum had changed. Mum was chatty, cheeky, full of fun, I barely had to say anything. The nurse asked me ''is this the same woman I met a month ago''. ''yes'' I confirmed ''it is''. The nurses assistant told mum ''hello my name is Matt'', mum said ''that's is not what your badge says, it says Matthew''. The visit was full of chat and giggles. Makes my heart sing to see her like this.

Activities are arranged which also include residents family and friends which makes visiting a pleasure and social occasion.
