Overall Experience

I discussed this with my mother before I completed it. She is very happy at Chowdene and the staff are all lovely and caring. However, she misses the interaction she had with Nicky's activities. Hopefully these activities will resume soon.
I cannot complain about the staff at all but there seems to

be a high turnover of staff meaning agency staff are used and don't know the residents as well as the longerserving staff.

Overall Experience

This is an excellent home in all respects. Mam is extremely well cared for and all her needs are met. The staff, without exception, are professional, empathetic and very proactive. I am kept very well informed about her care at all stages. I have every confidence in the staff which puts my mind at rest

and, more importantly, mam is very happy here. She feels safe and well cared for. A huge thank you to you all!

I highly reccommend Harton Grange to anyone. My dad is well looked after. The staff are excellent. Knowing my dad is safe is a big thing for me. 10 out of 10 for everything.

Overall Experience

Although this review relates primarily to my mam's 90th birthday celebrations, it is important to mention that in the weeks leading up to this day my mam's sleeping and eating routines were totally out of sync. So much so that when family visited there was very little quality time as she just wanted

to sleep. It was only through the patience and perseverance of the carers that on the day of her birthday she was up and raring to go, her routines back to normal. They arranged balloons, barriers, cake and candles to mark her 90th birthday. She was thrilled.
The family, with the help of the Care Home, arranged for a singer to come and entertain us all, including other residents. We all, especially mam, had a fantastic time. I can't thank the care home enough for making my mam's birthday a very special day. One that we will all treasure.
I find all the care home staff very helpful with any concerns I have. Even when some of my concerns are due to my unwillingness to accept what the Dementia is doing to my mam, they are so understanding and willing to listen which I very much appreciate.

Overall Experience

The resident I would like to mention has lived in springvale court for over 3 years and in that time there have been so many wonderful memories made thanks to the amazing staff who work there. Not least when they helped him celebrate his 57 th wedding anniversary with his beautiful late wife 2 years

ago. He is thriving and so very happy in the place where everyone including family and visitors are made to feel welcome and are invited to join in with all the great activities on offer. I couldn't imagine a better, safer place for him to live out his later years. A big thank you to all the staff, you are amazing x.

My father-in-law has only been a resident for a short period but he is included in activities and has settled well.

Overall Experience

The very first time we walked into Springvale home i knew it was the best place for my mother, it felt so homely, welcoming and clean. Since moving into there (2 years ago ) she has had a new lease of life and is very happy. Every member of staff from the domestics to management are excellent, I can't

fault them. The carers are so patient , friendly and understanding and always treat my mam with dignity and respect and they always have time for the residents and family members.
I feel happy and confident that my mam is being well cared for and is happy in her surroundings.

At Springvale court we always feel very welcome when we visit my mam and it's always clean, tidy and very presentable every time.

Absolutely disgusted in the way that the staff in this home treat my mam and the states she was in when I visited her they never engaged with her and let her sleep for 6 years in a recliner chair and not encourage her to sleep in her bed.

The staff at Washington Care Home are exemplary in the care they give to their residents.
My sister-in-law passed away on 15th July after 5 1/2 yrs in their care. Could not have asked for better care. They were by her side until the end. Thank you all. My brother is also in the same home receiving

all the care and attention he needs as my sister-in-law did. I visit every week. He is always clean and well dressed. He loves to flurt with the girls! It makes his day! Thank you for all you do for him. xx

Overall Experience

The staff are very professional, helpful,polite,nothing is too much trouble for them. Bedewell Grange is immaculate in all areas. The food always smells delicious with the menu on display showing a great variety of choice. The activities are well thought through from ever popular bingo to craft, gardening,

cooking etc. not to forget the entertainment.
Bedewell Grange is very safe and secure. My sister has been a resident for 15 months, she is very well looked after. I would recommend Bedewell Grange to anyone considering a care home, it is a difficult decision to make but the staff at Bedewell made the transition seamless and took the pressure from the family. Thank you for making a happy place for the residents
