We were very impressed with Prestbury Beaumont. The team genuinely cared for mum's wellbeing and she was looked after brilliantly. All of the staff were professional and the manager Sophie sets the fun and welcoming tone. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to organise care for their
loved ones.

My Dad has settled in really well. He is always immaculately presented and thinks of the place like a posh hotel. He has his own room with en-suite and TV, and a garden view, everything is kept very clean and tidy. The communal areas are well staffed by friendly, happy, caring nurses and associates
and they always make the effort to keep each of the residents feeling happy and cared for.
The food is excellent with two three course meals a day plus snacks and drinks in between , all of a standard that you would find in a hotel, with staff support for those who might struggle.
I was really worried when we had to find my Father a place here but he is happy here and the staff really are excellent, taking time out to speak to me in person or on the phone if I have any questions or concerns and always treating the residents with kindness, compassion and patience.

The first thing that hit me was the smell, I haven't been able to visit more for a while and couldn't believe how unkept she looked. The helpers put her in a wheelchair to move her to her room, but there is nothing wrong with her legs that a bit of exercise would not fix. My sister said she was walking
the previous day. Her sight is going but no sign of glasses for her. Dignity! She has none left, absolutely awful place. You should be ashamed to call it a care home.

Dad received a home visit from care manager. She responded to his anxiety and concerns with kindness and good humour gaining his trust and confidence. An emergency bed was found for which we were extremely grateful as we were in complete care crisis. He was greeted with warmness. The first room was
a little small but very soon Dad entered 'end of life' care and was moved to a beautiful room. Adaptions were made to personalise the room for him and his family. The staff were wonderful, all treating him with utmost care and compassion. We felt he was loved and our needs were respected too. Dad died in the best possible circumstances - a huge comfort to us.
Reply from Sophie Kay, General Manager at Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care CommunityDear Karina, thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate your feedback. We as a team were absolutely delighted to care for your dad, who was such a wonderful man. Thank you for entrusting us with your dad's care during in his final weeks. When visiting my sister about 2pm on the 24th/11/25 was shocked to find her sitting in lounge area with a plate of cold dinner in front of her. Chips, chicken pieces and carrotts are a difficult meal for someone who has no teeth! Also because of her dementia - she requires some assistance. Whilst helping
her to move to her room, we saw she was soaking wet and had obviously been sitting in urine for a while! We had to search for a carer to come and help us to change her clothes. This is totally unacceptable and leaves us worried as to how often this happens.

For the 3 months my mother has resided at Adlington Manor (Rowan Suite) the staff have always been polite and accomodating towards us. My mother has been very happy living at Adlington Manor, she enjoys her meals which do look very nice. She is always clean and presentable and the staff have a excellent
understanding of her needs, and they seem to be able to deal with any situation that arises. The building always kept clean and tidy with lovely outside grounds.

Lovely staff, nice environment and setting in the Rowan Suite. Staff always go out of their way to provide a nice visiting experience. Staff have a good positive relationship with residents.
I feel my father is well looked after.
My only critisism is that his room sometimes has a very strong smell

I have nothing but praise and thanks for the staff at Adlington Manor. They have taken a lot of pressure off the family and provided good solid caring and compassionate care to my dad. We cannot thank them enough.
In addition we have had good advice on practical matters which has helped a lot dealing

Nice welcoming home. Staff all frendly and helpful. Sometimes dont seem to be enough of them to give more attention to Dad, eg help with walking.
Always something to do for residents in the program.
When residents poorly place is locked down to prevent spead which is good. Central heating still not
working. All in all place is nice.
Da likes it.
