After viewing several care homes and moving Mum three times in quick succession, we were feeling discouraged. Then we visited Beeston View and immediately sensed it was different. The home is spacious, modern and spotless, with plenty of staff on duty. From the start, the team welcomed our questions
and encouraged visits before Mum moved in, which gave us real confidence. After our earlier disappointments, we were relieved to see how quickly Mum settled.
The care staff are warm and relaxed, creating a calm happy atmosphere. The nursing team are involved in day-to-day care and always available for chats, questions or suggestions. It feels like a genuine partnership in care. The local GP visits regularly and responds quickly if Mum is unwell, which gives us peace of mind. There are regular activities, and meals are served in a pleasant dining room. We now feel confident that Mum is safe, well cared for and happy at Beeston View, and we are very grateful to the whole team.
Reply from Kirsty Jones, General Manager at Barchester Iddenshall Hall and Beeston View Memory Lane CommunityThank you for your review. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required. Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team, who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team.

Sophie and the team were hugely supportive at a difficult time when my Mum needed an urgent operation. Mum is my Dads main carer so Dad had a week being looked after at Prestbury Beaumont in a beautiful room which had been tailored to his needs. Nothing was too much for the team to help us with, whether
it was changing dates last minute due to the operation being moved or providing home comforts for Dad, like a CD player in his room.
Dad enjoyed all the food & again attention to detail here was perfect- adapting the food to Dads needs.
The team encouraged Dad out for an assisted daily walk to keep him mobile & our family could concentrate on my Mums care knowing Dad was in safe hands.
Communication was amazing too, e mails answered even late at night or weekends when I wasn't expecting replies.
All the team I met were kind & attentive.
Reply from Sophie Kay, General Manager at Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care CommunityThank you so much for your positive feedback and wonderful comments about out home. The team collectively understood how important it was to ensure that dad's needs were catered too, as this ensured that mum could relax knowing that he was safe , well fed and happy. The team loved having dad with us, I think he enjoyed the fuss we made of him! We pride ourselves on communication; at the times you need us the most, day or night: that is what we are here for. I will pass on your lovely feedback to the team. You know where we are if you ever need us in the future.

Prestbury Beaumont is a beautiful place, set in the most wonderful surroundings. On approach the place looks like a hotel! As you step in - it is lovely and warm and the staff sometimes hard to find are super friendly! Mum was shown warmth, dignity, and a great level of care. The only issue we had was
bed only changed once in 17 days and the bathroom had a horrible smell! Mum made some friends and the activities on offer she thoroughly enjoyed. All the food was delicious too. Most importantly they got her to hospital when needed too! Thank-you.
Reply from Sophie Kay, General Manager at Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care CommunityThank you for your review of our home and your positive feedback about the dignity and care provided to your mum, we know that she thoroughly enjoyed her stay with us. I am sorry that there has been an issue with the bedding and en suite. Our management team pride themselves on having an open door policy, and I'm sorry that you didn't raise this with us at the time to rectify any issues for you. Our systems, processes and documentation of bedding changes has been improved since this feedback to ensure that assurances can always be provided. We appreciate all feedback provided. Thank you again.

Mum has been staying at Brookfield for respite over the last two years. Her memory is poor so she can't remember her previous visit but she always gets a warm welcome from staff when we arrive and she has made friends with a few of the ladies who live at Brookfield.
She always says that she's enjoyed
her stay when I come to collect her. She joins in with the activities and she loves the local trips out that they sometime have.
Reply from Sarah Nolan, GM at Barchester Brookfield Care HomeThank you for your lovely comments, we love having your mum staying with us and the other residents also enjoy her company.

My mother in law following a a short illness/hospital stay needed to have a bathroom refit in her bungalow for better accessibility.
She didn't want to be at home whilst the works was being done. She asked to have respite somewhere.
After searching I spotted this home in Mollington as it was not
far from the family. I fist went on a visit to look around
I was immediately drawn to the the home. Very friendly staff, happy clients, extremely clean throughout.
We arranged for a visit for my mum in law with her daughter too and we were kindly invited to lunch there. Lunch was so nice. Beautiful dining room were clients eating a lovely space with nice views of the beautiful gardens, very civilized. Staff can't done enough for you
My mother in law was booked in for a week then due to delays in the bathroom we could extend her stay which was perfect.
As an anxious person she settled in really well. She loved the food. All Staff were really lovely
When family visited her we were all welcomed
Reply from Nicole Welch, General Manager at Barchester Crabwall Hall Care HomeThank you so much for your review. It was lovely to have met you both and be able to help in your time of need. You are always welcome to come back and the offer of lunch here is always there too - thank you!

Westvale Care Home will always hold a very special place in my heart.
From the moment my dad lived there, the staff treated him not just with professionalism, but with genuine love and kindness, as if he were one of their own. The team affectionately called him "Gorgeous George with the lovely smile".
When
dad passed away, the care and respect shown to dad was truly touching. The staff went out of their way to ensure dad was comfortable and dignified, and they supported us with such compassion during an incredibly difficult time.
We will always be grateful to the amazing team at Westvale for the care, warmth, and humanity they showed my dad.
Thank you for everything you did for him and for us.
Love
Christine & family

My wife was admitted to Oak Grange with Alzheimers and mobility problems in July 2022 and was resident there until her death in January 2026. The care there was of a high order. The staff liked her and after a settling in period she was happy there, and forget she had another home (but didn't forget
me, I visited her almost every day).
The lovely garden is a great asset. There is a good range of activities but the strength of Oak Grange is the personal care and the good relationships between staff and residents.

When our local hospital said my Dad was being sent home with no advice on how to care for him and his needs going forward, the family were in shock. We were lucky to have Crabwell Care Home recommended to us by friends. From the minute Nicole the manager met the family and dad at his hospital bedside
our worries and concerns were eased away. Nicole liaising with the hospital and making sure that a room would be ready for him to the welcome he received all made us feel easier. The care he has received and the loving care he has had from all the staff was exceptional. A beautiful home with happy and friendly residents and staff. To have Dad say I'm happy here is such a relief and allows us breathing time to plan for his future. If Dad decides this is to be his permanent home we would be very happy.

We arrived at Oak Grange unexpectedly to view the place and the staff we met whilst there were friendly and helpful. Our family member has moved in now and everything went smoothly as any questions or requests we had were dealt with. As my family member was a little nervous about mixing with other residents
at first they were gently encouraged and now seems happy to join in.

My mother stayed for one week in Feb '26 for respite care whilst her immediate family were away from home.
From the initial meeting (prior to the beginning of care), then throughout her stay, to leaving - my mother received the most excellent care & attention - offered within extraordinary environment
and ammenity.
I would recommend this establishment and all the staff unreservedly.
