Overall Experience

Mum & dad have been at Iris Court for a week now The care, compassion & dignity with they have been treated is wonderful. All the staff are so keen to help & are warm & friendly while they do it.
It truly is a CARE home.

Overall Experience

Having visited the care home prior, expectations were at a high level & the stay almost completely proved to meet these high expectations.
From the arrival at the home to the departure, all staff members were extremely courteous, diligent in what they needed to do & showed a friendly face & dignity

at all times.
The room was adequate for the needs of the stay.
The food was very good, good choices, well cooked & presented.& the coffee area by reception was an excellent area for family members & residents.
Equally the beautiful gardens, with plenty of tables & chairs was another area, when weather allowed, to sit out.
Everyday there were activities to participate in, never easy to suit everyone at all times, always encouraged to take part in.
Overall a good experience for someone who wasn't initially enthusiastic of the stay, certainly would recommend to others.

Overall Experience

Mum has been in the care home for 3 years and during that time the care has been excellent
The staff check in on mum regularly, they always have time for a chat with her visitors.
Food is good with a variety of options.
In 3 years mum skin has been excellent with no pressure sores due to the care

of the staff.

My mother said her expectations were exceeded. She said the staff were all so friendly. We were recommended this home by a couple of friends. She would definitely stay here again.

Overall Experience

I have been so happy since my friend become a resident of Iris Court because it seems to me my friend's needs are being met as well as possible. I have observed her room is kept in very good order, the staff treat her kindly. The organisation of meals and activities seem good and staff seem keen to

engage her as much as possible in activities. The most important things are kindness and respect, and they seem to be in place.

Overall Experience

The care home itself is new, meaning that the facilities are generally well kept and good quality. There are some aspects which are disappointing - for instance there is no heating in the ensuite shower rooms. And it seems to take quite a long time for the residents wishes to be listened to (various

requests relating to gardening facilities/bridge tables & chairs etc remain unresolved). Food is a little hit and miss - quantity, but sometimes needs a bit more quality.
One to watch out for: after just 8 months in residence, the fees were increased by an extraordinary 8.7%, allegedly due to changes in government policies. Despite contesting this nearly 2-months before the proposed change date, Barchester did not respond to my queries and just changed the fees in line with their 'extraordinary' rate increase. A very worrying precedent!

Mum's time here was shorter than we would have liked. The staff were amazing from start to finish. She came in difficult circumstances and at short notice. The management were extremely helpful. Overall Experience

I came in unexpectedly for brief respite care, in pain and virtually immobile. I was given a warm and cheerful welcome, the room was lovely and the staff were a pleasure to deal with and very efficient. I wish I could thank them all personally.
I really enjoyed the food, which was varied and good.

My visiting husband also appreciated it!

Overall Experience

Our mother lived at Beaumont Chorleywood Care Home for over 5 years until her death in February 2025 and was treated by staff with the utmost respect and care at all times. This made her feel safe and at home. Staff were attentive, kind and always willing to respond to requests when asked. Birthdays

and celebrations were well organised and happy occasions. We chose to have both parents' funeral receptions at Beaumont.
As visitors to our mother's care home, we always felt welcome there. The atmosphere at the home is warm and friendly. Our father stayed briefly at Beaumont for respite care in the last month of his life and we were so grateful for the staff's support and sensitivity at the time. Thank you Beaumont Chorleywood!

This was my first visit to Barchester Iris Court. I was very impressed with everything I saw from the moment I got there. The rooms were immaculate, the staff were friendly and extremely attentive. As somebody who has worked in nursing homes, locally, for 17 years I can justly say this is the best I

Overall Experience

The activity schedule for December 2024 has been excellent and well-planned for all abilities. There have been many outings, craft opportunities and entertainment events, all of which she has clearly enjoyed. The home has been so welcoming and all the staff show how much they care for their residents.

I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they show to my mum. This is her third Christmas and each year the experience has been lovely.

Overall Experience

Our friend was terminally ill and knew it himself. The staff dealing with him were amazingly attentive and supportive. If he asked for attention by ringing the bell, the response from staff was immediate.
Three of us were with him when he died. When the staff heard the news from us, we had sympathies

and hugs from staff. They then sat us down in a quiet area to settle ourselves and they brought us coffee.
Amazing service for which we are very grateful.

Overall Experience

We have been consistently impressed by the standard of care at Barchester Chorleywood Beaumont Care Community since our mother came to live here three years ago. The professionalism and compassion of the staff (and their continuity at the home) is wonderful and it is reassuring to see that our mother

feels well here. She particularly enjoys the food! The staff are responsive to any questions and concerns and as visitors, we are made to feel as included in the life of the home as we wish to be. Christmas celebrations this year were marvellous!

Overall Experience

Always bright, clean and full of smiling staff. The home is spacious, really well laid out and still cosy. I've often visited when someone is in leading a singing session. Wonderful! The staff all go above and beyond to make residents comfortable. They are so friendly and chatty. I would recommend this

place to everyone!
