My mum was only in Chalfont Lodge for two weeks, but during that short time, I was very impressed with the care and compassion with which she was treated. This also continued beyond the home when mum was taken to hospital following a fall. The care nurse accompanying her took excellent care to ensure
that mum was kept comfortable in her final hours, for this depth of compassion. I will be forever grateful.

My father received end of life care at Chalfont Lodge in the last two weeks of his life. Throughout this time, each member of the staff team treated him with dignity and respect. Cheerful, kind, considerate and professional are qualities we observed, and my father benefited from.

Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming. Care staff are kind and caring, showing great empathy and patience. Management are approachable and keen to help the resident feel at home. John was a resident for a relatively short period of time, but we wanted to celebrate the kindness, professionalism, and attention that he received whilst he was in their care. Every single member of staff encountered were warm, welcoming and keen to provide him with the most excellent standards of
care. Family and friends were welcomed into the home and during every interaction. Nothing was too much trouble with offers of hot drinks and food. Staff were incredibly reassuring regarding his clinical care and kept us all in the picture about how his health was deteriorating which allowed us to keep every member of the family updated. Following his passing, at what was obviously a very emotive time, the staff rallied together ensuring that the process was conducted with the upmost dignity, grace and respect. Totally impressed by every aspect of the home and the staff.

I placed my Auntie in here for respite for 4 weeks hopefully with the view to her becoming a permanent resident which I am pleased to say she is now a resident.
My Auntie is very well cared for and is very happy in her new surroundings.
So a big thank you to all the staff for taking such good care
of my Auntie, a very hard decision for me to make to have to place her in a home but so pleased I chose Chalfont Lodge.

The most amazing place my mum could have gont to everyone from the management, admin, cleaners, nurses, cooks, carers, everyone!!! So polite and pleasant.
Always clean and tidy, lots of activities, although sadly Mum is bedbound, but still gets taken to the lounges on occasion to take part.

to all my family and they all agree that however long Mum has, she couldnt be anywhere better

Our dad was sent here from the hospital for an assessment with regards to his capacity and ability to look after himself due to his dementia & mobility.
The care he receives here is what any family could hope & wish for. And maybe more so.

My room had an outlook over the gardens so I could see out.
All the staff go above and beyond. They are friendly and fully supportive to my needs.

Fantastic care as always. Everyone but especially the team in Sunningdale unit are so fabulous. Each care assistant is attentive to the individuals needs. My mother loves it here!
