Our father came to Lynde House following a very traumatic hospital stay. He was extremely unwell, but from the moment he was admitted, the kindness, compassion, and professionalism of the team made a real difference. Thanks to the outstanding care he received, he regained a quality of life that we never thought possible and was able to call Lynde House home. Every member of staff took the time to get to know him as an individual. They understood his likes and dislikes, especially with food, and always respected his preferences. They were proactive in managing his care and worked closely with healthcare professionals to ensure he received the best possible support.The relationships between the staff and residents are truly special, and the activities and enrichment programme helped create a warm, welcoming environment. Families and friends are encouraged to be involved . We will always be grateful to the entire team at Lynde House. We couldn't have asked for better care.

Overall Experience

Staff have been outstanding over the past year our mum moved into this home after an horrendous experience with our last home. Mum was much more settled and relaxed. There is a lovely sence of home and security with wonderfull garden space and areas for visiting. I cannot thank staff enough for the care and support they gave us and mum in her final week. I would highly recommend this home.

Staff do an amazing job in challenging circumstances, providing a calm, well organised safe environment.
This care home is extremely well run and my wife was always happy, and content on my visits.

Stayed for lunch on 5 consecutive days. Food was very tasty + attractively served. Staff very friendly + helpful. Pleasant atmosphere within the Home. Sometimes, the washing (of clothes) gets delivered to the wrong person (apparently).

What a great afternoon tea party the carehome laid on for my mums 90th Birthday. There was a great amount of care given to make sure mum was ready and the room and set up were perfect. Winnie had all her family with her and we all enjoyed he great food that was served for us. Thanks to all the carehome staff for putting on such a great spread.

My grandma has been a resident of this care home for a couple of months. I have noticed a very positive shift in her health and wellbeing whilst staying here. All of the medical care and activities provided are of a very high standard and the residents needs are always put first. As a family we were numbed by the hospital diagnosis that Mum needed end of life care, but at our viewing, the General Manager at Southgate Beaumont assured Dad that Mum would be cared for and she would be safe.The Manager had identified Mum's cultural and religious needs, which were so important to her. Her room was comfortable and felt like home. For the short time Mum was there, she received the best of care, friendship and love from all the staff, whom we cannot praise highly enough. Mum joined in the activities where she could and visited the onsite hairdresser regularly. The beautician came to Mum's room when she was bedbound.

Mum's meals were tailored to her health needs and were nutritious and plentiful. Her hygiene was attended to impeccably. All the staff were supportive and caring and the nursing staff made sure we could all be with Mum when she passed. We are so grateful to them all for the time we got to spend with Mum and for they way they cared for her so tenderly.

We had a fantastic afternoon tea at Park View to celebrate our mum Win's 90th birthday. Everything was perfect! The food was absolutely delicious, with a wonderful selection of fresh sandwiches, cakes, and treats. A special mention to the chef and the whole team, who did an excellent job - everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Thank you to Jenny & her team for getting Win ready. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and made the celebration feel really special. We all had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better venue to mark such a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Our mum had a lovely birthday, and two days later a family tea 90 birthday.
I would like to thank the staff on both days for giving our mum a lovely two days. They are so kind compassionate and empathetic.
They help our mum Winifred see her 4 generations of her and our late Dads family.
Our mum been on Oak 3 for about 3 years on oak 3 staff treat her and us like family. And also the other staff also the same. Everyone whatever there job seems to be a family that work together.

Overall Experience
Southgate Beaumont is a spectacular facility and the care my mother in law has received has given her a second lease on life. She is eating well, she's engaged and truly enjoying herself.
The staff at the home are second to none. The continuity of care is fantastic with the same carers and nurses around as familiarity is so paramount. Everyone is kind, empathetic and attentive. All the residents are treated with decency, respect and kindness.
The management are fantastic. Beatrice and Veronica are friendly, always accessible and are open in their communication with residents and their families.

We have been very lucky to experience this level of care, kindness and compassion during a very difficult time for our family and for my mother in law. We are grateful that my mother in law has the quality of life she does since coming to the home, and has the opportunity to enjoy life as a whole.

Overall Experience
My mum spent the last part of her life at this care home, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the kindness, care, and compassion shown to her and our family throughout her time there. From the carers to the management and all the staff, everyone treated her with dignity, warmth, and genuine respect.
Knowing that your loved one is being cared for by people who truly take the time to understand them brings enormous comfort, and that is exactly what we experienced. The staff were not only attentive to her needs but also supportive and caring towards our family during difficult times.

The final stage of someone's life is incredibly important, and I will always be thankful that my mum was surrounded by people who helped make her feel safe, comfortable, and valued. We will never forget the kindness shown to her and to us. Thank you all for everything you did, your care made a real difference, and it will always be appreciated.
