Love the home from home decoration always spotless clean in main areas feels very relaxing when visiting with plenty of communal areas. Disappointed the gardens weren't open most of the Summer which made it difficult for relative to understand why not going out in the sun. Difficult when other residents freely take thinks from his room as doesn't seem to be a heavy staff presence for security. Management very efficient and friendly and deals with residents in an extremely caring way treating everyone as an individual and very approachable. Meals always look tasty and varied...must go down as hes now no longer a vegetarian! Recently went to a Summer fayre which was brilliant, well organised with good entertainment and bbq. Was great seeing the staff mingle with the residents in social way...roll on Christmas!

Dad's care was exceptional here the staff were outstanding and took him in like family. Also helped my children to navigate their grandad going into a care home. I would reccomend this care home to anyone looking for a care facility that goes above and beyond just the basics

My husband has been in North Park for 2 years je passed away on the 30th June this year with Alziemers. In that 2 years the staff have been wonderful with him and our family we have laughed and cried through his illness. They have been outstanding and always understood what his needs were and ours if we asked them to change anything for him. I have nothing but praise for the carers the cleaners the seniors and the deputy manager they work so hard to give the patients dignity and care.

The home looks after my mam as if she was one of there own parents nothing is to much trouble, they have loads of activities going on for them to take part in, can not fault any member of staff that we have had dealings with.

Very pleased with the really helpful staff. The facilities are always bright & welcoming, clean & smell nice. Our friends room is very adequate. There are really good communal rooms. It's the staff who really make the difference. Well done!

Mother in law admitted October 2025 since then the care she has received has been of the highest standard all the staff have been friendly and helpful and available to answer any of our queries the staff always go the extra mile when it's a anniversary or birthday. The inside of the home is always clean and tidy with the staff always making sure everything is spotless. The meals are varied and of the highest standard. There is also plenty of activities organised for the residents. The whole care home is a credit to the staff and management team

My Aunty seems quite happy at north park and she seems settled and is starting to accept her new life in a care setting. It's very reassuring for the whole family to know she is safe and well cared for and good to know we can visit anytime day or night.

My Dad is so well looked after! Big shout out to "Jen & Becky" senior carers on middle floor, they go above and beyond, ringing me always to keep me up to date with his care.

As a family we can't praise the team at Hundens Park enough, our dad spent the last 6 months here. The care and compassion was amazing. Dad settled instantly in the Darnton suite, and to say its for challenging behaviour we never once saw any issues, we had faith in the level of care for dad. There are always staff around interacting with residents and family. We would like to say massive thank you to everyone there for their support and care.

From the moment my mother arrived at Hundens Park Care Home, she was made to feel so welcome by all the staff. My brother and I also received such a warm welcome, which meant so much during a difficult time. They made what was a very difficult move so much easier.

There were always interesting activities and outings for the residents, and the staff brought kindness, compassion and humour to every day. The palliative care my mother received was excellent and delivered with such dignity and respect.

We are so pleased we chose Hundens Park Care Home-we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to the whole team for everything you did for our mother.

Following the passing of my close friend on North Park's dementia ward, some cash kept for haircuts etc vanished from her room. When I escalated this theft, the Regional Director responded with extreme hostility. She refused to investigate staff, stating they are all DBS checked, and defensively asked why I suspected them. When I noted my friend was in her room 24/7 and would have known if someone had taken it, the Director said it could have been a residents family member entering her room when she was asleep!! I countered that unmonitored visitors entering rooms of sleeping residents and stealing money is a severe institutional safeguarding failure, to which she openly asked "why?". She could not comprehend how a security breach on a secure unit constitutes a safeguarding issue at all. My informal complaints and formal complaints to the home have simply brushed me aside, and this terrifying lack of safeguarding knowledge has forced me to forward the full file to the CQC.

My father has been a resident at Hawthorns for a while. I will forever be grateful for the care that the staff have shown towards my father (and also my mother, who visits reguarly ). His dementia is very very advanced, he is unable to communicate, yet because of their care, he still has the sparkle in his eyes. Thank you so much. He particularly enjoys the music activity therapy, he will be forever an Elvis Presley, rock and roller!

I would also like to say how pleased I am that there is an individual monthly planner that is in her room, this is really useful to read. Thankyou for all you do, staff are always on hand to answer my queries, Best wisshes, Linda, Cyntha.

My husband has been at Hawthorns for 18 months. He is very settled there now and is well looked after. Staff are very good and really care for their residents. The food is good and the home is very clean and secure. It is lovely to be able to share a meal in the beautiful dining room overlooking fine gardens. Maintainence staff are straight on to any problems. Only fault is communications which can be patchy at times between management and staff/family but rectified once mentioned.

My daughter has been here 9-10 months and from day 1 she has been well looked after. The staff are a credit to the care home and each and every one of them deserve special credit. Donna's progress has improved immensely over the months and we look forward to making more progress under your supervision. Thank you.

My husbands care is very good he is shown dignity and respect. When I leave I no he is in safe hands. I have no complaints. I cannot comment on the food as my husband is peg fed at the moment.
