We can't thank the staff enough. Pete was booked in for respite (for me!) 3 days before taken hospital. He was very ill but Baylead kept in touch & saved his room. They have gone up & beyond caring for him. Today, with help managed to use Sara Stedy & now sitting in his chair pedalling! Truly unbelievable

Delighted to report that the management & staff managed my husband extremely well. He has been in 3 different homes & twice he has escaped & had to come home early. Respite care for me has been very beneficial. I needed sleep & time for myself. After a few days; my husband wanted to leave. He refused
to wash, change his clothes, etc. A male nurse was requested but it didn't make any difference. Eventually, he became interested in the activities & enjoyed the company (& cake!) in the lounge area. He has enjoyed his food. He swims in the local pool with my carer who collects him & returns him to "Bayleaf". He loves swimming, & only once did he refuse to go, when in his rebellious faze after 1 1/2 weeks.

My Nan became a resident in 2019 (as she has dementia) & she really didn't want to stay at first but then my nan got some friends & went to all the activities that were available.
The staff are brilliant, they all do there most to make residents & visitors at ease & l know my Nan is
getting the best care.

My mum went into Rose Lodge in October 2025 for end of life cancer care. She received excellent care throughout from all the staff, who were competent and compassionate. The room was comfortable and cosy. The home offers a range of entertainment activities, which although mum wasn't able to participate
in I witnessed going on around us and was very impressed.
I'd like to thank all at Rose Lodge for helping to make a horrible situation a bit more bearable.

This review is dedicated entirely to the angels who work in Skylark. My darling dad was a resident for six months, until his recent passing, and we were consistently blown away by the care provided by Dani, Simi, Ester, Rose, Nanita, Mimi, Victoria....and the rest of the team. Lovely Denise on reception
also deserves a mention. They do a job many would not want to do, but they do so cheerfully and compassionately. I was deeply moved by how caring they were (being so calm with my dad, telling him that they loved him when he was agitated and their tears when he passed). I genuinely don't know how they do what they do and remain so lovely. On another matter, getting in and out of the building out of hours was often a pain, more so if I was with my elderly mum, often waiting outside in the cold for 15 minutes or so with her while we waited for someone to let us in. I suggest a security guard is on the door, out of hours, to make it easier to get in and out.

Bayleaf Care Home is exceptional; its focus is on providing residents with a safe and comfortable home environment with individually tailored care. The staff are welcoming, professional, friendly, responsible and genuinely caring, not just towards the residents themselves but also to their visiting
families and friends. The food is delicious, the en-suite rooms are a good size, there is plenty of entertainment in-house, and trips out to provide lots of stimulation, and everywhere is kept clean and tidy. What more can I say than should I ever need to move into a care home, this is the one I would choose.

My mum came into Melbourn Springs in September 2025. Since she has been here she has been very well cared for. She has a lovely room, the whole care home is very clean. All the staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It doesn't feel like a care home it has the feel of a really nice
hotel. I would highly reccomend Melbourn Springs as a lovely care hom.

Everyone has head of stories about bad care homes. None of these could possibly apply to Melbourn Springs!
I could not imagine a warmer, more comfortable or caring experience for both a resident or their family and friends.
Always a pleasure to walk in the door, and always warm smiles from the staff.

After visiting various care homes we decided that Braeburn Lodge was the one for Mum. From the very first time we stepped inside there was a warm friendly atmosphere, every member of staff smiled and spoke to us as we looked around. My 91 year old friend has been at Hampton Grove for just a year. First off, she is very happy there. She has a room that she absolutely loves, it has a great view & keeps her occupied all day people & traffic watching. The carers are all lovely and I have nothing but respect for the job they
do. She is very well looked after & all her needs are met. The Senior Management are always available and take the time to listen or just simply stop to have a chat with you.

My mother was required to have respite care at Melbourn Springs at the last minute due to her husband's illness. From the appointment to view the care home, and all stages of care the manager and staff were 1st class. The management of her medicine, food services and facilities available are excellent.
Thanks to everyone, we will definitely be using Melbourn Springs ago if needed! P.s communication is so important and this was also excellent.

The management and staff are nothing short of fantastic. The care staff to food provided are 5 stars.
Dad is very happy never wanted to leave the "hotel" Mum was treated brilliantly in Respite car.

Im very happy to leave this Review as your all amazing from the time my father came in here he was made very comfortable and well looked after. All the staff whatever there role supported us 24/7. He was only here a short time but while he was here you all treated him and us more like family and your
little cafe was a god send. Like i say and cant say this enough many, many thanks, we love you all and a Happy Christmas
