The staff are always friendly and helpful. If there are any issues they are always resolved immediately and do not recur. My mother is very content there. There are plenty of opportunities to do activities. My mother enjoys the meals.

We contacted Bayleaf regarding respite care for my brother-in-law and had the most amazing experience totally not what I expected at all. From the first contact with reception to when he left was amazing. They quickly expedited his arrival and he was in within a couple of days, they arranged the day
of of coming in to meet our needs,
The welcome and care he received was amazing. The staff were very attentive and interacted with him. He was very touched that they always remembered the name of his dog which means so much to him.
The variety and selection of Meals were fabulous. I even got to sample a lunchtime meal.
The café area is lovely area to use whilst visiting members of family and was enjoyed by my family also
His stay was only for a week as an introduction to Life at Bayleaf, but he will definitely be returning as and when needed with a view to becoming a resident full-time.
The staff at Bayleaf made us feel at ease with the whole situation many thanks to everyone

My FIL has been a resident at Braeburn Lodge since July. Previously in 2017/18 my own father was a resident. The changes and improvements, in all aspects of the home, from admin, finance, housekeeping, management, care staff and nursing staff has improved beyond words. The staff are kind, caring, professional,
approachable and friendly. Not just with my FIL, but with us, his family too. Staff are quick to respond/react to any queries or concerns. The care they provide my FIL with is exceptional. They have got to know him as a person, not just as a resident or name. They provide us with regular updates and are always on hand and willing to answer any questions we have. Nursing staff identify any concerns/issues with my FIL's health and act accordingly without delay, and update us always. His needs are met and he is cared for exceptionally well. We, his family, have been welcomed into Braeburn in the same way my FIL has. We can not recommend Braeburn highly enough. Thank you

I have had daily dealings with the care home for 4.5 years ,we have seen many ups and downs with previous management more downs ,but can honestly say the new manager has gone above and beyond to help and make changes and listen and respects our opinions and explains in very true respectful manner of
reason behind things ,and in a short time I am now back loving this care home I've been around other care homes and can't find anything that comes close to how this is now thank you so much, look forward to seeing more staff as the residents rise in numbers

My husband actually spent a week in Respite at Melbourne Springs whilst I was having a hip replacement . He was well looked after and kept safe as he suffers from PSP . He didnot want to socialise whilst there but was able to eat well at a table as he does at home . He said the Staff were lovely and
friendly but he was naturally pleased to be home ! It was for peace of mind that I chose MS for his stay .

The care he recieved was and is second to none, Any minor issues are resolved very quickly and favourably. Cannot fault in any way, nor can I reccomend highly enough. Perfect

An excellent care home. Very friendly and caring from management through to carers, with excellent support also from facilities organisers, friendly reception staff, etc. Always seems clean, peaceful, and welcoming when I visit my centenarian mother(frequently). They do what they can to make the resident
comfortable, safe, and happy. I know from personal experience that the manager (Vimu) is genuinely caring and this flows down to the team. I'd recommend it.

After a life changing event, we unfortunately came to the realisation that dad would not be able to go back to his home. Having searched for his new forever home we decided upon Bayleaf. Since he has become a resident, he has been met with nothing but the highest standards of care. All members of staff,
without exception, are kind, caring and compassionate. We are made to feel like part of their family too!
Being a traditional eater, chef Stephan has adapted the menu choice and provided food he enjoys.
To our surprise, he has taken part in and enjoyed trips out in the minibus. It is great that relatives are invited along to take part and be involved outside of the home.
After a stressful few months visiting dad to ensure he has eaten and has been looked after, we are now visiting to spend quality time with him knowing he is well looked after if we are not there.

The carers at Rose Lodge treated my grandma with respect and compassion, even though she was not always the easiest woman to care for. During her final days, every single member of staff went out of their way to look after her and make sure we, her family, had everything we needed - they were amazing.
Choosing a care home for your loved ones is never easy, but I'm so glad we chose Rose Lodge for grandma. Thank you again to all the wonderful staff.

During my loved one's final days at this home, the staff administered medications correctly, but I often had to prompt them when she needed anything, including pain relief or comfort. There was a serious lack of empathy and emotional support, leaving both my loved one and our family distressed and unsupported.

End-of-life
care requires not just clinical attention but also kindness, reassurance, and attentiveness. I hope the home improves training and policies so families receive the guidance and compassionate care they need during these critical moments.
