When my husband first arrived at Memory Lane in the Wingfield Care Home, I didn't know what to expect. After several months, I can only say positive things. The carers are all so kind and experienced, and I am amazed at how attentive they are and do such a hard job with a happy spirit. The nurses keep a close eye on my husband and phone me whenever there is a problem. The food is absolutely excellent, and we appreciate the snacks like fruit and crisps available - as well as tea and drinks all day. Laundry and cleaning is so efficient, office staff are all so welcoming. We are truly grateful!

My mother came to Wilton Place for a 2 week respite care. In which I found the staff lovely and friendly. They have looked after her so well. We extended it for another month and now she is permanent.

The manager is outstanding. She understands her responsibilities and the importance of listening to residents and their families.

My wife is a resident and I often come for respite. The food is great, and even when I'm not staying at Cedars I sometimes come for lunch still! Anish and the team are all lovely and have a great sense of humour!

My Father was a resident at Milford House for just over 4 weeks. It was for end of life care. Everyone from the moment he arrived made all of us feel welcome, supported, safe & cared for. It was a huge relief coming from caring for him at his home. It felt like a family & that everyone had his best interests at heart. I am very grateful for the care he was given & also for the support myself & my family received. The Nurses & caring staff are wonderful. Everyone I came into contact with were kind, caring & very considerate. They made a very difficult time easier & I will always be grateful.

My wife has been well looked after and attention to detail has been first class. I've been kept informed of any changes to her condition. All the carers of friendly and helpful. Medical appointments & interviews have been efficiently managed on our behalf.

Thank you for the wonderful care my 97-year-old father received during his recent 11-day stay at Milford House while we were on holiday. As this was his first time staying in a care home, we were delighted by how relaxing and enjoyable your team made his experience.

Upon our return, we noticed that he had more energy and that his mobility had noticeably improved. The detailed pre-admission meeting was exceptionally helpful, as it allowed him to become familiar with the home, view his room, and meet some of the staff in advance.

He felt warmly welcomed by the activities coordinator and enjoyed participating in the activities, and he certainly rated the food very highly. All of the staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating throughout his stay.

On our first visit to look at the home we were made very welcome and management took details of our mother and her specific needs. We were shown rooms which were available and a decision was made on that day to send our mother to Henford. She has been cared for with the greatest level of dignity and patience. Staff were always welcoming and available for chats with the family. They kept in constant contact updating us on her situation and outcomes regarding medication and Doctor visits. If they had any concerns they would always phone and ask permission as we were LPA's. The two main nurses who cared for her went above and beyond. The palliative care she received was of the highest standard and when she eventually passed the phone call was made with much compassion. We were very lucky to have found such an outstanding home.

Staff are friendly and the home is well managed.

My mother moved to Cepen Lodge a year ago because she was incapable of living on her own as her dementia had worsened. Cepen Lodge and it's staff is the best place she could hope to be. Not only is everyone very well looked after, there are truly fun events and the staff are lovely. Very grateful that she is here.

The staff were great and so kind to my mum. They made her feel very welcome and so did the residents. The food was lovely. I was happy to leave my mum there as I knew she was well cared for.

All the staff went out of their way to make sure that her needs were met and are a credit to the organization.

Overall a good experience a very nice site with nice garden. Very friendly carer and staff. Overall everybody was very kind and helpfull. and in generall a very happy place.

Henford initially took my dad at very short notice for respite care following a long hospital stay and rehab. When he arrive he was barely mobile and needed a lot of assistance. After a month we decided that he needed to stay. As a result of the care, support and encouragement he was given he improved so much that he has now moved back home to live independently. Every member of staff was brilliant, caring and personable. There were frequent visits and activities for dad enabling him to experience things he would never have done outside. Thanks to everyone.
