Overall Experience

Without exception everyone at The Cedars works very hard to make this such a lovely home. All the staff always greet us with a smile and make everyone feel part of The Cedars family. We appreciate the regular relatives/carers meetings.

Overall Experience

The Cedars Care Home is in a beautiful grade 2 listed building with modern annex, set in attractive countryside. It has a calm atmosphere and actively welcomes and encourages groups and individuals from the local community to participate in events and activities. Staff always have time for a chat and

all seem to know my mother well. Management have an open door policy and the manager is always ready to listen to any problems that arise and address the promptly. We visit the home twice a week and find it a welcoming place where my Mother is safe, well cared for and stimulated.

Overall Experience

Our family has been involved at Milford for over 5 years - my mother for 4 years and now my father for the last year. The nursing staff and carers are great and the reception team are always welcoming and friendly.

Overall Experience

I spent 3 months respite at Henford House in Warminster to give my wife time to recover after her heart operation. It was a wonderful experience. From the sart I was made to feel welcome eg by the excellent reception staff. The carers were wonderful, often too thinly spread. They were very caring in

the true sined and were very friendly. The food was superb with a great range of choices!

DO NOT believe the reviews! Had to report 2 male nurses for lack of pain management from these nurses in my mothers dying hours!!! Made to feel unwelcome due to our constant presence to make sure she was fed. 1 Nurse thought she would clearly over step the mark to tell my father that I should refrain

from visiting so much as it was clearly having an impact on my mental health!!! Unprofessional and assumption from a non mental health nurse!!! Gave my mother no dignity or respect in her dying hours

My sister and I had lunch today at the home to celebrate our mums 95th birthday. We had the most delicious meal, especially the chicken curry - compliments to the chef, and we would like to say a particular thank you to Herminia who was so attentive to our needs and was so kind to mum. So caring towards Mum & her needs from every single member of staff. Mum has settled in well & considers it to be her home. It was Mum's 90th birthday today and we held a small family lunch party at Wilton Place. It was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Mum was awake and engaging and thoroughly enjoyed the lunch. Overall Experience

My mother was a resident in Henford House for 20 months until at the age of 93 she passed away, I used to visit her every day except Sunday (that was my day with my husband). I knew a lot of the staff and knew how well my mother was cared for so when it was decided I needed a week's respite after losing

my husband earlier this year Henford House was the obvious place for me to go.

Overall Experience

I find the Care home staff very welcoming, warm and caring, both towards my dad and us as a family.
We recognise what a challenging job the staff do, and they carry this out professionally and generously.
The staff were amazing when we were trying to ensure dad could make it to my sisters wedding

this October. Dad had been very poorly and they shared our determination to do all we could to follow his wishes to be present at the church. It would not have happened without their determination and going the extra mile in the weeks leading up to the big day. We will be forever grateful to them for this.

My wonderful mum who was seriously ill , spent the last 2 weeks of her life in this wonderful home. There are no words to describe the care , expertise and kindness she received from all the staff , no matter what their job , was exemplary. Every little thing they could do to make her last weeks more

comfortable was done . I and my family couldn't have asked for anything more . It's very sad losing a parent but to know my mum was looked after by the wonderful staff so well , definitely helped in what was a very difficult time .. Overall Experience

I had a two week respite stay at White Lodge while my daughter was on holiday. The premisses are of a very good standard and set in a lovely surroundings. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble, the facility's were we well above what i was expecting and this was my first experience

a care home. My only small criticisms would be the choices of food at meal times, it was always of a good quality but limited choice.
This was an enjoyable stay and would strongly recommend White Lodge having now looked at other Care Homes in the locality White Lodge was definitely the one for me.
