Overall Experience

Parley Place has been absolutely wonderful in every sense, not only in the care and attention they give to Dad, but also in the kindness and support they've shown to our family during what has been a very difficult time. We suffered a terrible loss just before Dad moved in, and the compassion and understanding

we received from everyone at Parley Place meant the world to us.
The staff truly are exceptional - warm, patient, and genuinely caring. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and it's clear how much they value each resident as an individual. The attention to Dad's safety, particularly as someone at risk of falling, has been incredible. The team are always so attentive and proactive, ensuring he's safe, comfortable and confident in his daily routines, which gives us such peace of mind.
The home itself is beautiful, with light, spacious rooms and lovely communal areas that feel calm and inviting. The gardens are a joy to visit, and Dad especially loves the mini bus outings and food.

Staff at this care home are all lovely. Hand overs must be excellent as they all know my mother very well and, despite her being really challenging at times, all respond positively and consistently, making my life so much easier. As soon as you walk in the door you know it is a very special place. Our

Overall Experience

My mother came to Barchester Kings Park for respite care after a fall. After extending her stay week by week she decided it would be better for her to live here permanently. She feels safe, cared for and is treated with dignity and affection. The staff always have a smile and always have time for a

chat, nothing is too much trouble. There are numerous activities to suit all personalities, all in all its a very happy place to live.

Another excellent extended respite stay for my mother. During the time we have been using Hyacinth House, Mum's mobility has deteriorated. She now uses a wheelchair and rollator and needs assistance transfering between equipment, getting dressed, washing and toileting, which is all provided by the Hyacinth

team with the utmost care and dignity. This is truely a friendly care home where all the team take time to talk with Mum and get to know her visitors. Mum also loves the food her and enjoys the activities and outings. You are all amazing and should be proud of the care provided.

I have visited Hyacinth House a couple of times with my Community Dog Louis. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home straightaway. The facilities and decor are very homely and I see there is a full programme of visits and activities. The residents all seem happy and well-catered,

for with staff approaching several times while I've been visiting to check everyone is alright.

As a new comer to Upton Bay Care Home I have been very impressed by what I have seen so far and certainly my expectations have been met. I am pleased with the choice of care home made for my wife. My mother entered Moors Manor Care Home having been in hospital and needing nursing care on discharge. The welcome and support from all staff was first rate. It was an anxious time and everyone made the transition very easy. The nursing staff acted on mum's needs immediately and she soon seemed to

settle in.
Moors Manor is really a hotel with care staff, lovely decor and quality facilities.
