Care Homes Owned by Barchester Healthcare Ltd in Herefordshire

After having a terrible experience with our last respite, we were very nervous. I worried about leaving my anxious Mum for a week who is always glad to go home, but no this time her first words to me were 'I love it' I was shocked and relieved and now know we have found our special place for future respite The staff were incredible - She can't wait to return.

Mum was well cared for by all the staff who are very considerate and caring. Her room was well situated, decorated and very welcoming, as is the whole building. She enjoyed the varied activities on offer and we were delighted to see her progress both physically and mentally. The 'open door' policy is superb, where family, friends and medical support staff are welcomed with professionalism and caring. Mum had an enjoyable and positive respite stay and is looking forward to returning again for another few weeks in July.

The single failing was the very poor lighting in Room 35. Not possible to read by existing lamps and layout. Such a shame.

The staff & residents were all friend and contributed to a happy time. I came to Ross Court as an emergency after a fall & everyone's kindness & understanding helped enormously in my recovery. I would like to be able to return in due course.

The staff are all professional, caring and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. It's immaculate, clean and modern, very welcoming. It's peace of mind to know Mum is looked after so well in such a caring, lovely environment. I would highly recommend it. There is always lots of lovely activities going on. Mum is very happy and well looked after.

Mum was admitted as an emergency after a fall. During the 6 months she lived at Ross Court she found a new lease of life. She made friends with both residents and the staff who were endlessly kind and supportive during the good times and the bad. She enjoyed a huge range of activites particularly visits from the local children and Ruby the companion dog, and the catering arrangements, especially the daily supply of fresh cakes were exceptional. Mum has left Ross Court today in tears leaving behind a host of new friends in a place she came to call home.

A wonderful care home with kind attentive staff who genuinely care about the residents. The environment is welcoming, well-kept and full of warmth. Highly recommended.

Peter has thoroughly enjoyed his time here. It has been quite an experience and he has met and made many friends here. He would like to come back for a visit to see his friends and attend the social events which take place. Thank you all for your care and kindness.

Last week a cheese and wine evening was held and a lovely lady singer attended , my Mum and her friend (another resident) enjoyed it so much and haven't stopped talking about it since . They are thrilled as the singer has been booked for NYE .

Looked after very well by pleasant staff. Food good.

My mother Pauline has been Ross Court for nearly 3 years now. She is very settled now. Staff & care also mangement are all second to none. Only thing more activitys and chair excersises cleass would be good like they all should have maybe.

My mother has been a resident for several years. She continues to recieve first class care, as do I when I visit. I am regularly kept appraised as to her health and welfare.

The staff are all amazing & the care they give is exemplary. When my time comes, this would be the care home I'd want to live in!

I was moving a resident into Ross Court and was impressed with how great your staff were with helping me and my colleague find the right room asked me if I would like a cup of coffee. Your staff are a credit to you and must I feel mention your maintenance man who was brilliant and kind enough to lend me a tool I needed. So once again great staff doing great job

I was made very welcome and looked after very well thank you.

Very pleasant visit always, lovely staff always ready to assist me and never too much trouble. All the residents appear happy such a lot going on or peaceful afternoons. Everyone very welcoming.
