This is an outstanding Care Home. What makes the home so special is the quality and experience of the staff who are all permanent employees. From the very first appointment we had, it was the only Care Home we visited that totally focused on my dad's needs given his deterioration with Alzheimers. The
care he has received has been of the highest standard from all members of staff including Senior Management. Their communication is excellent especially during times where a change is noted in my dad's health. They continually go above and beyond to provide care for my dad. We feel very fortunate that my Dad is being looked after in this Care Home. My family is constantly reassured that his individual needs are being met, and that he is in a safe, secure and hygienic environment.
In the year my Dad has been a resident, the staff have got to know him and have put a smile back on his face.

My mother in law recently moved into the home and we cannot thank all of the staff enough for the care and compassion that has been shown to all of us and her. She has settled so well and really came out of her shell. The carers go above and beyond and it is nice to see her happy and laughing again.

After several years of caring for my husband at home, I found it necessary to find a suitable facility for him to be cared for. We were lucky enough in being accepted into Canmore Lodge. The help, assistance and care received goes above + beyond all expectations. With it's home from home atmosphere,

Our experience with Canmore Lodge has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my mother moved in, it was clear that the staff genuinely cared about her well-being. They were kind, compassionate, and always went above and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable, safe, and respected. The environment
was warm and welcoming, making it easier for our family to trust that she was in good hands.
The caregivers were attentive to her needs and were proactive in keeping us updated on her health and any changes. It was evident that they treated her like family, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. The activities offered were also wonderful, providing both physical and mental stimulation that greatly enhanced her quality of life.
We cannot thank the team at Canmore Lodge enough for the love and care they provided to my mother during her time there. It was truly a place where she felt cared for, valued, and at home.

Could not think of a better place for my husband to spend his last few months. The care, compassion and 'can-do' attitude of the entire staff is unbelievable. We are grateful for the kitchen staff, cleaning staff and all the nursing staff.

On entering Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home, the first thing you see is the smiling face of reception, the care, love and attention that was given to my mother was second to none. I visit Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home with my dog twice a week. The staff are brilliant with me. My wife was in Canmore but passed away in January. The support I received and the care my wife had was excellent. I look forward to my visits to the home, the staff always have time for us.

Barchester Canmore Lodge Care Home has looked after my aunt these last seven years until her passing earlier this year. The physical care was exceptional as my aunt was always clean, kempt, neatly dressed and smart-looking. But, more than this, she was lovingly cared for emotionally. My aunt looked
up to the nurses and carers with smiling eyes and likewise, the staff spoke with her kindly and lovingly. The 'family' atmosphere there is tangible. When any health problem arose, Canmore Lodge acted quickly and professionally.

My aunt stayed in Canmore Lodge for the last eighteen months. The care she has received has been of the highest standard. She has been visited several times every week by family members who are all adamant that she could not have been better cared for anywhere.
