Overall Experience

Amazing care home and amazing staff. They made my dads last nine months the very best they could be under the circumstances. Not only a great place for residents but also for the family and visitors. I wouldn't put my loved ones anywhere else. My only feedback would be that the senior big wigs at Barchester

need to perhaps employ more staff as on occasion they are run ragged for some of the care needs that the residents have. Its all well and good allocating a number of staff to the number of residents but when those residents needs require more than one member of staff they are spread very thin. I'm sure for the fee that's being charged they
can afford to employ a few more staff and focus more on the needs of residents than profit. The staff and management there are amazing and give 100% so they need to be looked after!

Overall Experience

I've been a resident here at hall park since January 2024. The facilities here are very good and since the newer mini bus has been fitted with tie downs I can go on any trips along with other residents. I've had many health issues some of which meant being admitted to hospital by ambulance. The garden

in the grounds is developing and various vegetables have been eaten by staff and residents. I am very pleased that the family chose this care home above all others

Overall Experience

From the first step inside, we knew Hall Park Care Home was the right place to look after dad.
Following a very unsettling and anxious initial few weeks (through no fault of Hall Park), the whole team of carers, domestic staff and management worked closely, patiently and tirelessly with the family

to overcome this. There was constant reassurance and at no point did we feel anything other than confidence in their abilities to care.
Dad is now fully settled and happy and calls it home. There isn't enough space here to single out individual staff for recognition because everyone single one of them has played their part in welcoming and caring for dad. Without exception, the staff all go 'above and beyond'.
We know dad is in a safe, caring and stimulating environment and he is happy - we can't ask for more. Thank you.

Overall Experience

All the team within the home are fantastic. My mum has come on leaps and bounds since becoming a resident. She enjoys all the activities that are held both on site and also the visits out. Mum recently went out to a farm. The carers sent me a video of my mum having a cuppa and a scone. The smile from

my mum said it all. Highly recommended.

Overall Experience

Mum was moved here 3 weeks ago. She has previously been a resident at 2 other care homes.
As a family we are so happy with the care mum is receiving.
All the staff from admin, reception, manager, carers, nurses and the catering manager have ensured mum is welcomed and look after fantastically. The

activities team are brilliant and mum has even but out on a trip. Communication between the team appears excellent.

Mum is always happy to stay at Edingley Lodge when we go away on holiday. She looks forward to her stays. This makes it wasy for us to go away knowing that she is happy and well cared for.
The staff are always welcoming and cheerfull and the premises are spotlessly clean.

Overall Experience

My mum has been a resident at Edingley Lodge Care Home for many 2 years and the care she receives continues to be extremely good. From the very start I have been impressed by the way the team work to ensure the residents are well cared for. The kindness shown to Mum gives me so much peace of mind. The

nursing team ensure she is comfortable and pain free as much as is possible due to her many health issues. The team are always smiling and busy with projects from the entertainment side of the staff. The home is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

Fab staff, they cant do enough for the residents and family members. The food choices and standards are excellent. The units are always clean to a high standard, if you require anything for the bedrooms they sort it, from heaters to putting up pictures. The grounds are well kept with enclosed garden

areas. There is lots of daily activities, BBQ's, Christmas Fayres, live music, hair salon, foot care.

My dad had 2 weeks respite care after my mum was admitted to hospital. This was his 2nd placement in Lancaster Grange. Once again I found the care given to my dad was very good. Many of the staff recognised my dad and their attitude towards him was professional, warm and friendly. During my visits I

found all levels of staff to be approachable and informative. I would have no hesitation in requesting more regular respite placements for my dad in Lancaster Grange with a view to full time care in the future if and when needed. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

The carers at Forest Hill range from the very good to the excellent and there are many of these! There is a real family atmosphere here with all staff - domestic, kitchen, maintenance, reception etc. contributing. One-to-one relationships with all residents are both genuine and realistic. Within their

busy schedules all staff, find time for residents and family/visitors. My wife loves the food and really enjoys the regular animal visits. Forest Hill is now her home. P.S. Of the many excellent carers some are outstanding.

I am so happy my mum is being cared for at this home. The staff are lovely, patient and friendly. The food is amazing with lots of variety. The rooms are clean and fresh. They have fun days, activities and entertainment. My mum is content and in excellent care.

Our mum was only in Lancaster Grange for a short time for end of life care. The team here are absolutely amazing. The care and compassion given not only to our mum, but to all our family when visiting was incredible. We are so pleased she came to stay here. We were with mum right until the end, nothing

was too much trouble. The home is very well maintained with beautiful gardens. I would not hesitate to recommend Lancaster Grange to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

Overall Experience

As before, my wife has been a resident of Lancaster Grange Care Home. After treatment has been consistently of the highest standard. The staff all seem to be caring and act in a consistant way, recording every face to face encounter with my wife and recording their experience on digital handsets. The

room is always tidy and the beds and linens clean. I am kept really informed of my wife's condition, by face to face encounter on telephone by both senior dementia staff and doctors. The whole experience from entering the home to leaving leaves me totally satisfied that my wife is in the best possible place.
