Overall Experience

It is a huge decision to move your loved one to permanent care & the thought for my siblings & I was both emotional & terrifying. Farley Gardens care has made this huge transition easy & painless. We have gone from worrying everyday to knowing she is safe & very well looked after. Mum is happy, safe

& no longer anxious & all of our worries have gone. All of our visits with Mum are now enjoyable & we leave her safe &, happy & content.

Overall Experience

I travelled from America with my mum to visit my nan here and I have to say this place is wonderful. From the pleasant staff to the facility itself, this place has everything for my Nan.
I couldn't of asked for anything better for her and I know she will have the best quality of life here.

Overall Experience

By the time a dexision has to be made on behalf of a loved one and choosing a carehome, a family has already been through a heart wrenching process. Stoneham Grove - starting wtih Jodie, took away all fear. It was evident that the wealth of experience with every single member of staff has created a

warm and welcoming home. This is one big family. The residents and staff live and work in harmony. We, as a family are extremely grateful for a perfect setting for our Mum.

Overall Experience

Often sit with husband having his lunch and the variety is good. Had chocolate sponge and sauce, with custard, thoroughly enjoyed. Caters well for the age and residents.

Overall Experience

My mum spent 2 weeks in respite care following a hospital admission.
The staff at West Oak Care Home have been so kind to my mum. On arrival at the care home, she was distraught as she wanted to go to her own home. All staff were so kind and patient with her on her arrival and managed to help her to

calm down and settle in. This kindness and understanding continued throughout my mum's stay. Also communication with myself and my brother by staff has been excellent.

Overall Experience

All staff v. welcoming, friendly, nothing is too much trouble, always on hand. The care my mother in law has in place ensures she is safe and looked after. The doors are always open for visiting. Activities and events well organised. It is a happy environment. Simona, Oana, Harley, Hailey, all care

staff, kitchen staff, behind the scenes do a great job in contributing to making Farley Gardens homely.

Overall Experience

My Mother spent two weeks here over the Christmas period following a short stay in hospital which had left her not strong enough to go home straight away. The manager and staff could not have been more welcoming and she had a lovely comfortable room. She was very well cared for and nothing was too

much trouble - I also felt reassured that she was in safe hands over what was a very busy family time for me. She even had her birthday there and they surprised her with a lovely cake! She had everything she needed to rest and recuperate before going back home.

My mum came to West Oak for palliative/end of life care, and we could not have wished for a better experience at a really difficult time. The care was attentive and compassionate and we really felt the staff connected with Mum on an individual level. The room was really nicely furnished and we really

Overall Experience

My wife, Penelope, was admitted on 30th December 2025 for end of life care. She was in the terminal stages of pancreatic cancer and passed away at 10:25 on 11th January 2026. The care received during this time could not be faulted. She was treated with care and dignity to the very end. The rose placed

on her body after she passed was a thoughtful gesture.

Overall Experience

My mum has been a resident here since the end of October, and we have been extremely happy with the care she receives. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely caring, which gives our family great peace of mind.
The food is excellent, with a fantastic choice of dishes available daily, and residents

are also invited to discuss upcoming menu changes with the chef. Mum is a very sociable person and she is enjoying the wide range of activities available, organised by the wonderful Luliana, from baking club, visits from the local pre-school, flower arranging, pamper sessions, chair exercises, trips to the garden centre, performances by musical acts all helping residents to stay engaged, active, and socially connected.
The home itself is beautiful, well maintained, and welcoming, creating a comfortable and homely environment. Overall, we feel very fortunate to have found such a supportive and caring home for my mum and would highly recommend it to others.

My husband was well looked after in a safe environment, warm and caring. The deputy home manager Oana supervised his medication to perfection. The staff are friendly, paid attention to detail. The manager Simona delivered a wealth of experience with a warm welcoming embracement. The home was warm, clean

and beautifully furnished. Most important my husband was safe. Chef Peter made excellent meals. Thank you to Rarjun, Semni, Binda, Oluci housekeeper, Ben, everyone.

Dad has been at West Oak for two years now.
The whole family has been impressed by how kind and caring the staff are.
The staff themselves seem happy and almost all have been at W.O. for the duration which is a really good sign.

Overall Experience

We chose Stoneham Grove for our mum following several visits .
We were always made to feel welcome by all the staff and the ambassadors.
Following a period of respite it was decided that our mum would be very well cared for here.
Any settling in issues raised by the family have been addressed and

changes put in place to help our mum and us feel confident she will be happy here for the rest of her life .
She is so much better here than having care at home . The enrichment is superb .
She has started eating better which has had a positive effect on her wellbeing .
The carers are respectful and kind as are everyone we have come into contact with .
This home is more like a 5 star hotel.
We are looking forward to the spring where we can take our mum for strolls around the lovely garden.
