Overall Experience

The staff, facilities and building exceeded all of my expectations when moving my dad into Chacombe. The staff especially blew us away with their kindness and professionalism. We couldn't fault Chacombe House if we tried. Thank you all.

Overall Experience

Mum has been a resident for nearly two years now. She has settled in well, and its a relief to know she is in good hands. It's nice to be able to spend time wtih her as her daughter rather than her carer. Any concerns we have had, we have brought up and have generally been dealt with promptly. Chacombe

Park is in such a lovely location, surrounded by nature, helps to feel relaxed.

Overall Experience

My son and I recently visited from the United States. My brother is a resident at Claremont and seems very happy there mainly due to the kind and attentive staff who take care of him.
I was impressed with everyone who attended to his needs and also that the facility itself is spotless, the meals

(of which we had one) were delicious, and well presented. Overall, I believe this is the ultimate in care homes for anyone who lives there, and wanted you to know how much I appreciate all you do for my brother.

Overall Experience

Such a lovely environment that feels like home. More importantly than this is the level of care provided which surpasses the quality surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. I have been able to have complete peace of mind that dad is being cared for which has eased

the burden somewhat during this difficult time.

Visited my cousin again today and was once again impressed by the care and service provided. We had lunch together in the conservatory and that too was very pleasant and tasty. As always at Parkway, decor and cleanliness seemed excellent.

Elm Bank reception is the first experience of this lovely care facility. The staff greet you with warmth, care and reassurance when this can be a difficult time initially. The home is tastefully decorated, and cleanliness is top notch! The staffing team we have met, from nursing to the dining room,

to the activities team, are all dedicated to their job of caring for your loved one. We have peace of mind that he is being taken care of. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Juniper really is a home from home. Having visited many nursing homes, and Juniper being the third home my father was in, it is definitely one of the best out there, and as a family we feel very lucky and privileged to have been able to place him in such a warm, caring and professional environment.

The home is very well presented (even more so after a recent refurb), with very good size en-suite bedrooms, large comfy lounges and excellent communal areas, beautiful garden and even a visitors cafe area.
Nothing is ever too much trouble from all the friendly and supportive staff, we are always made to feel very welcome and have always had the peace of mind that dad was being very well looked after and treated with the upmost dignity. In his final days there, the team went over and above in terms of support and kindness, not only ensuring he had all his needs met, but also us as a family at such a difficult time.

Overall Experience

The care home is in a lovely location and provides a very well-decorated space for residents. Carers do their jobs very well, but seem stretched across their duties - it isn't uncommon for their to be only 1 carer present on a floor i.e. the Upper Valleys. It would be good for all personal items to

be labelled with name of resident and room number. Things like ingrown toe nails should be discovered and dealt with before problems are seen/reported directly from residents. Visitors are expected to know where 'Daisy Lane' is without any signs.

Overall Experience

Mum came to the care home in March 2024 having been in hospital and deemed to be at end of life.
However Juniper House staff brought her round to the point where she could enjoy life again. The good food and caring staff had a very positive effect. Although she couldn't walk and was doubly incontinent

the expert care she received made her twilight years the best they could be.
She thoroughly enjoyed the games, crafts, activities and particularly the regular live music entertainment.
Found all the staff to be extremely supportive to residents and family members. The homely atmosphere is maintained to a high level and ultra clean. Cannot fault the homely atmosphere or staff at all. Thank you all for everything you have done!
