My mother was sent to Claremont to recuperate after a fall in which she sustained a broken hip and arm. She had the most fantastic care. Everyone who works there treated her with kindness and respect which really aided her recovery. The facilities are excellent, the home is spotless and the food was
excellent. The numerous activities were well thought out, ranging from book clubs, to exercises classes and even poetry and prosecco!
As a family we had peace of mind that she was being well cared for and every day she showed signs of improvement. I cannot thank the staff enough for how well my mother was cared for . As she said when she left " I cannot find one thing that could be improved, it really is a fabulous place to stay ".

The care home runs regular classes do toddlers and we have been attending since last year. The sessions are fun for the kids and adults get involved too. The residents are alwats so welcoming. The staff are always so kind, Kim is fantastic with the kids and always gives them plenty of fruit and biscuits.
My girl love her. Thank you so much for having us and putting these sessions on for the kids, we're always looking forward to the first Wednesday of every month. Thank you

Clive arrive at Claremont 22 Dec 25. He settled in really well, which previsouly in other places he had not. For the first time in the year he was happy. The staff there are amazing, so helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them. The place is spotless and has a lovely home feeling about
it. The rooms are so homely as I said before this is the first time dad has been happy in a home. Staff are so caring with the patients, they never get angry or shout at them, which I've seen before. My husband & I are struggling with the process of social services and 2 members of staff there are helping us through it all which means so much to us. You hear all these horror stories of what goes on in homes. We have no worries about Claremont at all. Also most importantly Clive has NOT had one UTI since being in Claremont. Whereas before he was getting them fortnightly

My grandmother stayed at this care home and our family is very grateful for the care she received during her time there. From the beginning, the staff were welcoming, kind, and supportive. They always treated her with dignity and respect, which meant a lot to our whole family and gave us great peace

Every month we have a residents meeting to complain but nothing improves.

Mummy was at Elm Bank for a week of respite care and the staff were uniformly lovely, patient, caring and kind. To my mind this is the biggest and best thing that a care home can provide so along with the lovely setting (which is being refurbished) and excellent activities I was very pleased with her
stay there.

My wife was in Chacombe Park Banbury for 22 weeks before she peacefully passed away with me sitting beside her holding her hand. I visited her every day staying 3hrs per visit Journey was 60 miles round trip. At the time of writing this care home had a 9.5 rating out of 10, it lived up to its ratings
from start to finish. Management nurses, carers reception all wonderful, comment given to my daughter on a visit, on her better days my wife said her daughter, I love being here they look after me so well, gave me a real piece of mind. Would recommend.

We had a very negative experience here. My Dad has early / mid stage dementia and Parkinsons. He was shown around and the place looked lovely. There were nice spaces to sit and snack areas with drinks. But when he arrived he was taken upstairs where it was quite different. The decor was less nice, the
snacks and drinks available were less and not so nice. The lift was not working so he was kept upstairs the whole week. I was told on the first day that it was temporary but lasted the whole week. They were doing building work right next to my Dad's room, with relentless power tools all day. His timed medications were significantly late on three occasions. He was left alone most of the time and was clearly distressed by other residents who were having screaming episodes. I understand that cannot be helped but my Dad was trying to comfort two ladies alone. He had his walking stick taken by another resident and on the first day was given so little food that he called me saying he was hungry

All of the staff, nursing, care, maintenance and reception are all earth angels. The care has been second to none. From the day my aunt moved in until the day she passed away. We were made welcome. They truly cared for my aunt and myself, and I can never thank them enough.

My mother suffers with dementia and is a resident on Blossom Trail. The staff are extremely patient, helpful and genuinely caring. They offer all the assistance she needs and always inform me of any doctors visits, change of medication or other issues. Although it is difficult due to her illness they
try to involve her in the excellent activities and keep her as active as possible. I am very happy with her care.

Our experience of Chacombe Care Home is one where everyone is welcome and treated with respect and dignity. My sister has been received with care and compassion. When we visit we are always welcomed and any comment is always listened to and responded to straight away.
The small touches of every resident
having their own activity sheet printed in colour, a menu with choice and options and a beautiful view from her bedroom window where she can watch the birds.
We have found her whole experience so far outstanding.

Mum has been a resident for nearly two years now. She has settled in well, and its a relief to know she is in good hands. It's nice to be able to spend time wtih her as her daughter rather than her carer. Any concerns we have had, we have brought up and have generally been dealt with promptly. Chacombe

My son and I recently visited from the United States. My brother is a resident at Claremont and seems very happy there mainly due to the kind and attentive staff who take care of him.
I was impressed with everyone who attended to his needs and also that the facility itself is spotless, the meals
(of which we had one) were delicious, and well presented. Overall, I believe this is the ultimate in care homes for anyone who lives there, and wanted you to know how much I appreciate all you do for my brother.

Such a lovely environment that feels like home. More importantly than this is the level of care provided which surpasses the quality surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. I have been able to have complete peace of mind that dad is being cared for which has eased
the burden somewhat during this difficult time.
