This care home is fantastic, the staff are amazing, every one of them, they are so caring for all the residents including my mother. I am so grateful, my mother is here and being cared for, I couldn't ask for more.

To all the staff thank you for your patience and caring once again today I saw you all at your best caring for residents when they can be very trying. You all continue to amaze me everyday. You let me find a quiet area do do my aunts hair and nothing was too much trouble. You all deserved an ice lollie in the heat today

I have had interaction with this care home since 2021 when my mum was a resident, with dementia, until her death in 2024 and now my aunt is a resident. My aunt became a resident in Feb, during her time she became ill,the care home staff quickly identified her illness and she was admitted to hospital. On her return she has thrived under the exceptional care of the staff from the manager, to maintaince, carers and housekeeping. She is now walking unaided, joins in with the varied activities laughing and enjoying life. Thank you Emma and everyone for giving us back our auntie!!

From arriving Uncle has being treated with genuine kindness, dignity and respect. The team go above and beyond to make the people here feel comfortable and safe.

Environment is always clean and communication with family is excellent.

Overall Experience

Our mother lived at Chester Court from 1st January 2026 until she died on 9th March 2026. We knew that her long life was coming to its end and she died comfortably and peacefully. We were most impressed with all the care she received at Chester Court and feel lucky and grateful that we were able to choose Chester Court to look after her. The home is well staffed with all the people she needed and every member of staff was kind and caring. Thank you all for looking after her so well.

My husband Jim has settled in no bother he has made friends. He joins in with all the activities and enjoys them. In fact he has a better quality of life than he did at home as he would not do anything other than watch T.V. He has more company than he had at home and enjoys it and he loves all the staff

Overall Experience
Visiting my brother who is currently enjoying respite care at Barchester, I was first greeted by you wonderful staff who were so friendly. I was immediately put at ease with the wonderful comments and updates regarding him; comments were so complimentry of how he had settled in.
The facilities were exceptional, bright, cheerful with a wonderful homely atmosphere. I was so impressed.
My brother emerged from the dining room having eaten a hearty lunch. He had a wonderful lighthearted air to him, which I've not see in years. He loves it there.
We sat for over an hour laughing, talking like of which I haven't seen or enjoyed for such a long time.
You seem to have re-awakened the spirit within him - just like the good old days.

Today I visited Barchester Meadow Park to visit my brother who was staying for respite. Previous visits with him at his home he barely spoke a word. Today he was bright, happy and smiling, talkative too! What a great change.

Barchester staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

It was a very hard decision for Mam to go into a Care Home due to her dementia and her care needs progressing. Initially it was recommended that she had respite care with being in hospital long term as Dad was her main carer and he was unable to meet her new needs. The Care my Mam receives is excellent, I can not thank the staff at Meadow Park enough for the care and compassion they give my Mam, the staff go above and beyond to make sure my Mam is looked after. We are now hoping that she can stay there on a long term basis. Thankyou for looking after my Mam x

My father in law was taken in recently, the care has been wonderful, the staff are so caring.

The support and care also relates to his wife. The support for my mother in law has also been a lifesaver - we are very grateful.

All staff are very welcoming. Always see to my mams needs at all times. Always have her dressed when I come to take her out. Join in banter of my mams sense of humour which is fantastic.

Mam came in on rest bite and stayed as a long term patient. The staff and management were brilliant with Mam who has disability problems. Mam loves all the staff, she does have her favorites, but all her needs are cared for she has also started activities and loves them. As a family we cant fault the home or staff they are all amazing.

When I was looking for a place for my cousin to be in I visited here. I got a really good feeling about here. I was right. Firstly the staff are amazing, everyone is so friendly, helpful not only to my relative staying here but to myself on every visit. Every area is spotlessly clean and lovely furnishings. Although I am visiting I feel totally relaxed and that is the result of how well Station Court is looked after and the resident who are here

My mam has recently passed away in Station Court, and the staff were outstanding.
Their love, support, care and compassion was above and beyond.
They all made a difficult time for us, and my mam so much easier to deal with.

Their professionalism was also greatly appreciated.
