Absolutely fabulous! It's was very hard to accept that Mum needed full time care due to her dementia but the staff at Meadow Park go above and beyond. The staff and the manager are like part of our family now. The manager is always there and listens to you no matter how busy she is.
Mum is looked after
so well and she is happy and contented there. It is such a lively and happy place and the staff are always having a fun time with the residents.
Thank you for looking after Mum and being there for me too.

The method of bowel management used (administer laxative and clean up as and when) was inappropriate and risky for a paraplegic. In the present case prolonged contact between stool and skin caused Incontinence Associated Dermatitis in the area of the anus and labia, and horrible necrotized the thin
skin at the site of a long-healed pressure sore: Much work for the district nurse.
Conclusion: use suppository of enema if needed for a paraplegic NOT laxative. Best of all use none of these for routine bowel management if possible

This has been a very challenging time especially for my mam but things have been made so much easier to deal with due to the support and care provided by Meadow Park. From day one my mam was made to feel welcome, supported, and part of the community. First impressions of the home is that it presents
a homely environment, the staff are friendly on hand to answer questions and supportive to residents and family. Management have an open door policy and available to speak to if required six weeks on and I am happy and relieved to see that my mam is receiving the care and support she needs. I would happily recommend Meadow Park for respite or full time care.

Staff are all lovely, nothing a bother to them, very helpful 100%. Meals well presented, excellent choice and all fresh. Dignity at all times.
Home well kept, and cleanliness at all times. Spacious home to walk round, plenty activities. Day rooms airy & bright to sit in and watch the world go by out
of windows if you need a bit of quiet time. Gardens well kept and lovely to sit in and sometimes help out.

From the moment my father was accepted as a resident, he was made to feel at home. I cannot fault the care given. The staff went over and beyond what was expected to my father. The activities were amazing; and my father joined in and thoroughly enjoyed the activities. When he was put on end of life,
due to cancer, the staff were amazing, showed care & compassion - will never forget their kindness.

In Station Court my husband had the best care. The best friendship & the best life he could have had with his condition of dementia:- all due to the amazing staff. Then:- he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. The staff looked after him as good as any professional. Keeping him comfortable & peaceful
& getting him help when needed right up to the eventable end:- I cant praise them enough. Apart from all this, the staff were there for me all the way being friendly and caring. I salute every member of staff & THANK YOU isn't enough.

1st time visiting Barchester Station Court. After visiting other homes I was very surprised/happy at how lovely Station Court is. Clean, tidy, no smells. Lots going on for residents there was a singer on when I visited. It was lovely to see everyone so involved - care staff, office staff, families all
singing and dancing with residents. My friends room was lovely. The tea trolley wasn't bad either.
