When I booked to stay at Pinetree for respite following a knee replacement I was assured that my needs could be met but there was no one who could do my ice packs so family had to come to do my care. Members of staff did walk with me. Often no carer came to see if I was asleep and in morning after 9
am before carer came so for 12 hours no one contacted me. Could not press buzzer unless I got out of bed difficult after major surgery.
Door would not stay open for 5 days repair man said nothing wrong very dangerous Management said they would deal with it!
Most of the food was awful other resident said it had gone down hill since - Pinetree had opened.
Carers very helpful.
Now night dress still missing - in the laundry somewhere.
? Has door been repaired yet
Has anyone found my nightie.

Clothes are laundered well.
I like the fact I can get my nails done and my hair. Weekends are difficult for my family to get in, as not always someone on Reception.
I sometimes have to wait a while after pressing my buzzer for help to the toilet. I appreciate that staff are busy, but should be more
staff I feel.
My room is kept tidy and my bathroom is kept clean.

We are so fortunate to have our parents in a care home that is more like a hotel! However, it is the committed and professional staff (in all roles) that make Pinetree so special. All staff have a positive, competent and friendly attitude at all times. All are patient, empathetic and responsive. Additionally,

The staff at Pinetree have been kind, friendly and helpful without exception. From our first visit, we have felt very welcome. My relative didn't want to live in a care home, but within a couple of weeks, she was singing its praises. The excellent food, the care and kindness of all the staff, and the

My aunt has gone into Pinetree today for respite. The staff have all been amazing making my aunt feel comfortable the weeks leading up to her stay from our first visit taking a look around to her assessments and then helping her fill in the paperwork. Loretta has supported me through some tough weeks
and is very approachable and I know she is there if I need to talk to someone. The carers are friendly and also on hand to help with anything. Steph has the energy to lift anyone's spirits and is always very positive and everyone enjoys her activities.

More staff needed especially at meal times when they are taking meals to bedrooms. Meal tables were not always laid correctly and some cutlery not washed enough. Napkins often missing. Menu of the day not always followed. I was happy with the care I received.

My mother has just completed four weeks of respite care at Pinetree care home. It was our first experience of a Care Home for respite and we were anxious as to how Mum would find the experience. Pinetree is a beautiful home which felt more like a hotel than a care facility. The accommodation, lounges,
cafe, cinema room, hair salon and facilities are first class. The staff were welcoming, friendly and caring throughout Mum's stay. It was a joy to visit Mum as it was apparent how much she was enjoying the facilities, great company and care provided. We were all sad when respite came to an end.

Mum was a resident in Paternoster Carehome for end of life care for the last 3 months of her life. The care given by the staff was beyond amazing, they treated her with such kindness and respect and dignity that we could ask for no more. They made what was a deeply distressing and anxious time more
bearable because of their professionalism and empathy. As a family we felt welcomed and looked after every time we visited and they showed concern for our wellbeing also.

The biggest "Thank you" to Rita, Activities co-ordinator and the team at Ashlar for making our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary a very special day.
Rita liaised covertly with friends and family to arrange a wonderful party for Graham and myself, with balloons,cakes ,bubbles and wonderful entertainment!!!.
Off duty staff came in to help celebrate, which shows the care and attention the team give every day, not just to the residents but their families as well.
It was such a suprise and the happy memories will be with me forever.
Thank you to everyone at Ashlar for taking such good care of my beloved husband.

"The team on Memory Lane have been exceptional. The staff were attentive, hard-working and genuinely caring, and it shows in every interaction. The unit was always kept very clean, and the facilities were well maintained, providing a calm and safe environment for residents. What meant the most to us
was the way the staff showed real care and affection for my father, not just meeting his needs, but truly understanding him as a person.
The communication from the team including the General Manager was outstanding. We were always kept informed, reassured and involved, which made a huge difference during a difficult time. Their warmth, patience and dedication gave us great comfort, and we are deeply grateful for the support they provided to our father and to us as a family

We are writing this as the children of a resident and cannot thank this home enough for the care our mum receives.
Flavia leads with knowledge and compassion, and on Mum's unit Janet and her wonderful team Samantha, Doreen, Toby, Marius, Olivia and Francine care for her with warmth, dignity and professionalism.
They truly know her needs, routines and the small things that make her happy. Her hygiene and presentation are always excellent.
The activities team are making real efforts to include her more, which means so much to us. A special thank you to "Mumma Lucy," who prays with Mum, plays gospel music, massages her hands and cuts her nails, such genuine kindness.
We bought Mum an Alexa for her love of music, and staff turn it on each morning, so she starts her day smiling.
Most importantly, our mum is happy, and we have complete peace of mind.
From both of us, we are deeply grateful.
