I came as a friend to visit an old friend. As was impressed by the venue & most important the staff. So kind & supportive

Overall excellent. Maintenance team Phillip - excellent response. Catering staff very understanding. My heartfelt thanks to the team. Carers gave excellent service. Managing staff - excellent response.

My father, David, has been a resident here for 3 months and we couldn't be happier with the care he received. The staff have been absolutely fantastic so kind patient & proffessional - supporting him brilliantly through his rehab and his transistion to become a permenant resident. Nothing is too much trouble and the geuinely care about his wellbeing. The build is maintained to a high standard as good as day opened 2 1/2 years ago. Food has shown improvement and is varied. So happy overall.

Attended father in law's birthday celebration. Staff went out of their way to make it special. Balloons, sandwiches, drinks and birthday cake provided. Had a lounge set aside for the family. Very enjoyable.

Just had a great Birthday party for Dad - Ashlar took care of everything for us from the decorations to the cake and candles. Dad had a great time - it was so nice to just relax and enjoy some family time with multiple generations. Ashlar have been brilliant for Dad, he is so well cared for and fed, it's such a weight off our minds to know he is safe and happy. Thanks team

I Had to arrange respite for my sister at short notice contacted Barchester and had a call the next day from Adam who was very friendly he arranged for Sharon the mananger at Ashlar House to call me, she came to visit the next day to do a pre-assessment and was so compassionate and caring towards myself and my sister when she left I felt a huge weight had been lifted and I could concentrate on my upcoming operation feeling completely confident my sister was going to be well cared for,I am unable to visit or facetime her because I know that might upset her, she has only ever had family care for her, Rita the activities mananger has sent me some lovely photos of Louise enjoying and taking part in events which has comforted and reassured me a great deal. The team at Ashlar not only take great care of your loved one but also take care of their family too I would not heisitate in recomending Ashlar House and if Louise ever needs respite in the furture she will definitely go back. My father moved into Leonard Lodge in September and has settled in really well. The home is beautifully furnished, clean and very welcoming and the carers and nurses are very professional. The food is plentiful and of a high standard and all his needs are taken care of. I am very happy and relaxed that he is being taken care of in there.

Mum was very well looked after with lots of activities to do. Good food and variety, staff friendly and engaging with the residents.

I am very impressed with the care and efficiency of all the staff, their communication and support with my mother-in-law's care. The manager is polite, caring and has a real passion for supporting people living with dementia. The activities are varied, and my mother-in-law has built a lovely rapport with the staff.

Excellent communication between staff and family.

Mum was very poorly when she arrived at Leonard Lodge at the end of July. At 94 she has many issues, a history of falls, failing health and is on Oxygen 24x7. Mum wanted to stay in her own home but it became apparent following 2 falls in 2 days and her unpredictable health, that it was not safe for her to do so. The staff have shown Mum much love and care in helping her transition. We can't thank them enough at what has been a very stressful time.

A great care home, the staff are so attentive, friendly and caring. My mother in law is a resident and I feel she is in a safe and secure environment, and can attend great activities. The refreshments for visitors are a bonus too.

My mum has been a resident of Pinetree for over a year. She tells me she feels safe here. The most important aspect when I was choosing her care home was how care was delivered. The care at Pinetree is outstanding. Every member of staff whatever their job care for the residents. They are cheerful, caring, responsive and dedicated. They know about each residents' needs and work hard every day to meet those needs. Thank you!!

I cannot recommend this care home enough. My dad had a wonderful week of respite and said it felt like a five-star hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, caring and helpful throughout his stay. A special thank you to the manager for being so professional, approachable and supportive. We felt completely reassured knowing Dad was in such good hands. Highly recommended!

We are very happy to know that mum is being very well looked after.

My sister's care has been excellent. She is a completely different person since she has been in Ashlar House. She is happy and well cared for and I am grateful everyday for the care that they take.
