We cannot thank everyone at Sycamore Grove Care Home enough for everything they have done to help our nan settle in.

This has been such a difficult and emotional time for our whole family, but the care, kindness and support we have received from everyone has meant more to us than we can put into words. They have supported us in every way possible, always taking the time to listen, reassure us and make us feel that our nan is truly cared for.

Whenever we visit, we are made to feel so welcome, and it is such a comfort to know that she is surrounded by such caring and compassionate people.

A huge thank you to the whole team at Sycamore Grove for everything you do. We genuinely appreciate each and every one of you and couldn't be more grateful.

We would highly recommend Sycamore Grove Care Home to anyone looking for a warm, caring and supportive home for their loved one. We feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful team to look after our nan.

It would be impossible to pick out one member of staff for an award because they have all been so kind. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone always has a welcoming smile. The care here is genuine. The room is very comfortable and is kept very clean, the food is very good (including tea, coffee and drinks in the room) and the activities are varied and interesting.

Mortain Place is a fantastic care home, amazing staff, nothing is ever too much trouble...lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk through the doors. My Mum has lived there just over a year and is very happy there.

I am very happy for him to be at Hazel Lodge.

It is always a pleasure to visit, and leave having confidence that residents are safe, well cared for by kind helpful staff, good food, and in the knowledge that medical and clinical needs are being safely applied and provided.

Our family was so thankful that my mother was able to be in such a wonderful environment during her last months of life. She received such supportive care and I must say we did as well. We couldn't have wished for a better place. The care was outstanding and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and 'at home' during the difficult time of my mothers decline and eventual passing. Being able to use the very nice living room and comfortable elegant settings made it easy to visit. When my mother was well enough she enjoyed the excellent food in the restaurant and being able to choose her meals I highly recommend the home and the personnel who were exceptional. A very sincere thank you!

Place Care Home. The staff, the care, spacious room with access to garden surpassed all of our hopes enabling us to have peace of mind that he was being so well cared for in lovely surroundings. I highly recommend this beautiful Home.

From my initial visits to moving my family member into the care home my experience was excellent and I would highly recommend Lydfords to anybody looking for a home for their family member or friend. The home is extremely well presented and maintained and most importantly the staff are excellent, being both friendly and helpful, carrying out their jobs to the highest possible standard, and treating my family member with the utmost respect and dignity. The staff and care home made this whole process, which is always difficult and emotionally challenging, as easy as possible and have been a huge source of comfort and reassurance to me and the rest of the family. Lydfords have exceeded my expectations in every way possible and I cannot speak highly enough about the home and its staff.

Mum initially came for respite care in June but settled in so well that she became a permanent resident in August; being there has given her a new lease of life. The home is very well appointed and comfortable for the residents and very welcoming to visitors. The care Mum receives has been excellent and all the staff are lovely.

My parents recently had the pleasure of staying at Port Manor for a period of respite care, and we honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed, supported and reassured. The home is beautifully presented, with peaceful surroundings that create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Every member of staff went above and beyond, from the friendly receptionist to the maintenance man and, of course, the wonderful care team. The carers were exceptional - kind, compassionate, patient and professional, treating my parents with genuine warmth, dignity and respect. Nothing was ever too much trouble. By the end of their stay, we genuinely didn't want to leave. Thank you to everyone at Port Manor for making what could have been a difficult time such a positive experience. We cannot recommend you highly enough.

My stepdad moved into the nursing home 6 months ago. We knew it would be a huge adjustment for him especially with his many medical needs, including dementia which means he often becomes confused and it has taken quite a long time for him to settle into his new surroundings. Throughout this difficult period, the management and all staff members have shown incredible patience, kindness and understanding. Everyone is always friendly, welcoming and willing to help and it gives us great peace of mind knowing he is being so well cared for. The communication from the management team has been brilliant and they are always happy to answer any questions or discuss concerns. We would highly recommend this home to other families.

Sycamore Grove is a truely lovely place to be. Everyone is so helpful & kind and go out of their way to help. The food is also very good with lots of choices. Would recommend S.G. to anyone

The staff are superb, every single one of them. They have helped our friend settle in superbly well, nothing has been too much trouble. In organising birthday celebrations the staff went above and beyond our expectations. In organising multiple activities both inside and outside the care home on a daily basis, the staff have been exceptional. The quality of food at all meals, the menus and the tea and cake on offer for visitors is wonderful. The surroundings and rooms surpass any 5* hotel I have stayed at! I cannot recommend this care home highly enough.

It's like a five star hotel would definitely rerecommend .

Overall the care standard is excellent with a very good ratio of staff to residents and the facilities both in individual rooms and communal areas are also at a high standard.

The home is very friendly and encourage family and friends to get involved in all aspect of the home, it has a welcoming feel and the care given is a very high standard.

Thank you to all at Lydfords for given me a relaxed break. I have slept for England.
