Danni and the entire team simply could not have done more to welcome mum and accommodate her every need, even down to changing the decor colour scheme in her beautiful spacious room. The home is spotless and very tastefully decorated throughout giving a lovely homely feel. Staff are very pleasant and attentive and always happy to answer any queries we may have. The food is excellent with multiple choice 3 course menus on offer. Having found such a lovely care home and seeing mum settle in so well has gone a long way to assuage any guilt feelings we may have been experiencing to begin with.

I can't thank the staff enough for the outstanding care, kindness and compassion they provide for my mother in law. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and genuinely cares. The activities and meals are wonderful. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, caring and supportive environment for a loved one. Thank you to the entire team for everything you do.

Very happy with the service

I am extremely pleased that I chose Hollyfields to care for my Mum. She is treated with kindness, dignity and respect by all members of staff. She now requires a higher level of nursing care and in my opinion, the nursing team are exceptional. Every member of staff are always willing to talk to relatives/friends, and I never feel like I am inconveniencing them. I am always greeted with a cheery smile from everyone I see.

Eighteen months ago my parents aged 95 & 93 moved to Latimer Court. They felt 'at home' from day one. As a family we were so relieved that they were so well cared for, safe, secure and really happy too. All staff, without exception are so friendly, efficient & genuinely care for the residents, and support families well too. The rooms are comfortable with every need catered for. Lovely restaurant, hairdresser, entertainment; everything really good. Food is delicious & nutritious & both parents are well & healthy. Visiting family are always welcomed into life at Latimer, where the ethos is open & inclusive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Latimer Court!

It's a shame the home as only a minibus for trips Mum is unable to manage this due to due to severe back pain and therefore is restricted to in-house entertainment or wait for family to help. I feel the recent price/fee raise is unacceptable in the light of family doing her washing, limited access to outside visits etc.

My mother is happy & well cared for. All staff are friendly and approachable. Occasionally activities are cancelled at short notice but she really enjoys the things she does. Shame that my mother isn't able to go out on the minibus because she is too uncomfortable. This limits the number of activities she can take part in. Despite this, the cost of her room is extremely high for what she is getting - my sisters do her washing, she eats very little. This is especially shocking since the profit Barchester Healthcare are making. It is no reflection on the staff of the home who work hard & do their very best.

My mother-in-law Margaret is a resident at Holyfields & we are so happy with her care all the staff have been so lovely I am Margaret's daughter in law Michele I'm filling this form in on behalf of myself and father-in-law because he unable to do it himself we visit Margaret every day & are always pleased with her care the staff are always very helpful & cnt do enough for the family

The standard of care at Hollyfields Kidderminster was absolutely excellent , it was clear that the team treats all the residents with genuine care and interest. They were very accommodating to my mother with preferences and helped her to settle in far more smoothly than we anticipated during my mother's 3 weeks of respite in march 2026 . The staff dealt with medical concern efficiently and professionally . The team never got frustrated and only ever treated my mother with kindness .The care home was very clean and welcoming and a homely atmosphere , would highly recommend .

this care home is fantastic - the staff are so good - willing to help you - nothing was too much trouble - the carers were wonderful with my husband - i could not of asked for more - and the food was great my husband loved it - i have said it before i am most grateful to you all for looking after my dear husband - who we sadly miss love to you all jane

What a wonderful home to live in it is so lovely, friendly & helpful staff cake & coffeee great I have worked in a Care Home & this is one of the best I have 2 members of family as staff and they love work for a very good Company so clean & kinded- Tidy

Patient, friendly management, carers, cooks and cleaners. Easy to speak to and understand. Doctors who show professional concern for all. A clean environment with a selection of foods for meals. Activities on and off-site. Pinned-coded security door and left with different codes, which gives me peace of mind for my mum's mental and physical well-being. The values for this are irreplaceable. Thank you all for what you do.

I couldn't recommend Hollyfields enough. It's such a HUGE decision finding a perfect care home for a loved one, but I can hand on my heart 100% recommend them. They went above & beyond for my Dad, who was end of life. The care & compassion they showed both my Dad & our family, I will never forget. The home itself is welcoming, clean, warm & feels homely. The staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing we asked was too much trouble. I can't thank you all enough for everything you did for us all at such a heartbreaking time.

It's early days yet but we have been made very welcome and the care of my husband has been very good.The food and laundry service is excellent as is the cleanliness of all areas.Maybe a little bit more attention to ensuring residents are having adequate hydration. On the whole I am very satisfied

I was very impressed at the efficient and friendly welcome given to Janet on arriving at Elgar Court care home. It was reassuring for her and certainly for us as her close friends. The standards on offer are 1st class and can be recommended to anyone contemplating respite care or permanent residency..

I need help with various aspects of care and find these are carried out in a respectful and thorough manner. Staff are always caring and helpful and above all kind and effective. Well done Elgar!!

You will not find a better care home in the West Midlands - full stop. The staff are genuinely caring; the food is varied daily and appears excellent quality. The facilities are first class (as a newly opened home, this might be expected) and visitors are warmly welcomed. There is a full list of resident 'activities' published in advance and offering multiple experiences for residents. Expensive but excellent.
