Right from the moment I walked through the door you are made to feel at home, greeted with smiles and happy greetings. The home is well lit, warm and clean. The lounges are inviting and very comfortable. Residents have happy faces, there are activities for those who can and want to join in saw (singing
musical & children to sing). Wherever you walk through is clean, tidy and looking beautiful, lots of pictures and ornaments to feel homely. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, they know residents by name and shown concern & empathy when talking with them. When in the dining area (drinking lovely coffee and tasting delicious cake) at lunch time the residents were made to feel welcome, encouraged to eat/drink. I am blown away by the love, kindness, care, empathy shown by all staff. My mum is clean, warm, loved & cared for. Thank-you.

The staff are all very caring and compassionate. My questions are always answered to my satisfaction. I feel that my father is in good hands. There are plenty of activities on offer, although my father does not often engage in these. The care home is always exceptionally clean and well presented. The
housekeeping is first class. The reception is always manned by helpful staff and the managers are very welcoming and always ready to answer queries and provide guidance for our requests.

We booked Dad into respite care on 5th November for two weeks. Happily five weeks later he is now a full time resident and settled in!
He has a lovely bedroom , bathroom and an outside garden terrace on the ground floor with table and chair.

very personable, caring and the way they look after the residents is really great. Fabulous menus, daily activities, and most of all, look after Dad so that we do not need to worry!
His medication is dispensed and the responsibility of prescriptions etc is coordinated.
Admittedly the care is not cheap, but worth every penny!

When my wife was brought in on a stretcher she was met by several smiling, competent staff who immediatly made her welcome. After weeks of not being washed or kept tidy in hospital on the first day she was showered and just made to feel so much better. Her mental condition is deteriorating but the
staff do so much to try and stimulate her. A member of staff brings food in to try and get her to sit and drink. Their patience and care is wonderful. I am so grateful to all the staff at this home, I cannot thank you enough.

I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely, clean & well decorated the interior was. Its such a warm & friendly environment. Its very welcoming. The staff are helpful. It's very calm & relaxing. Having Louisa being cared for in such a caring way is extremely reassuring & will speed up her recovery!

A member of staff recommended this care home. I was worried at first as my Dad was in assisted living accommodation. He came straight from hospital. As soon as he arrived staff came out to us and put me at ease straight away. We always feel very welcomed and I know my Dad is being cared for. I can now
be a son again and not a carer.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. My father-in-law is very happy there. He was in hospital before coming to the home where he wasn't eating much, now his appetite has come back. I would highly recommend Friston House.

Everyone here is so lovely & welcoming. Made my dad feel so welcome as soon as he arrived they do an amazing job of taking care of him in every way his eating and drinking has improved since his been here, they do everything for him nothing is to much trouble they keep us well informed about everything
so we don't have to worry about anything which bring's us a great sence of comfort and peace of mind that his being looked after so well and his happy
