Our stay at Waterside Court has been an excellent transition between discharge from hospital and being able to return home. The staff are excellent and extremely friendly and caring. All residents are treated with kindness and respect. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone,

The manager, Clem, is excellent and demands excellence from all his staff. Blerta's weekly activities plan provides an exciting, engaging and varied programme. The residents benefit greatly from the activities and love to go on the regular minibus trips. Relatives are always welcome and encouraged to join in the activities too. I would not hesitate to recommend Waterside Court to anyone seeking care for a friend or relative. It really is like one big happy family living in a beautiful country home.

David my husband really enjoys his time at Waterside in Wallingford. He is very well looked after and enjoys the company and conversations with other residents. It also gives me a break from caring and confidence that he is well looked after with all his needs met. He goes back regularly so has got to know the lovely staff and residents. He is always welcomed and enjoys many aspects of his time there with lots of activities.

My mother (Corinne) has visited Barchester Glebefields for respite a number of times over the last 4 years, and now considers this a home from home. The staff are exemplary in their care and professionalism and make each of her visits a really enjoyable experience. The level of service provided by the Glebefields team is excellent, and I know Corinne looks forward to each visit knowing she will be well looked after. Our family greatly appreciates the consideration and kindness administered by the home, and we hope to continue using the services at Glebefields for the foreseeable future.

I no longer have to worry about her safety or her state of mind. I know she is happy and well cared for by lovely caring staff.

Looking after my mum really well considering she's had a very severe stroke they look after her extremely well. She needs a lot of care as she is paralysed all down one side. She seems very happy and always says how nice the staff are to her. We are very grateful she is here and can't thank the staff enough for their patience and kindness.

Our 96 year old mother is receiving amazing care at Southerndown, across the board. Always listened to about her food choices, attentive whenever she needs assistance and the management regularly check in with her to ensure she is happy with what's happening. We didn't foresee our Mum going into care and approached this with a fair amount of worry - but we are very glad we decided on Southerndown, and most importantly our Mum has settled in extremely well and is genuinely happy with the care she's receiving. Outstanding.

There always appears to be an excellent range of activities and numerous events to which relatives are made very welcome We are very happy with the decision to move Dad to Glebefields we feel it has been an excellent choice.

The staff at Southerndown are second to none. My granddad is cared for beautifully and with such dignity. I am kept informed if there are changes when I am not there and I feel very included in his care generally. I would recommend the care home to anyone.

As for the carers, there really are not enough words to describe them. They smile as they greet you. Nothing is too much trouble. My father can't remember names but has his own way of describing them. It invariably involves him describing a smile, a little dance or friendly gesture. The carers always greet him if they're passing by. These little moments are so important. It takes very special people to be carers. Middletown Grange has a lot of very special people.

Looking for a care home for your loved one isn't an easy task but I certainly found one for my husband. The care and loving attention given and the commitment to provide a nurturing environment for all the residents is first class at Middletown Grange Care Home. The staff are just wonderful and I am so pleased that my husband has found a home away from home. His care is paramount to me and I rest easy knowing that his health and welfare needs are fully met. I can not praise highly enough how the staff not only look after my husband but when I visit they make me feel like I am home as well. Simply wonderful.
