Overall Experience

What an incredible place Red Oaks is. The staff are so kind and caring. The are friendly to all residents and family when they visit. My father was made to feel very special and enjoyed his time at Red Oaks making new friends with the staff and residents.

Overall Experience

In a year of residence my husband has received excellent personal care and nursing. All staff at Red Oaks are kind and caring and do their utmost to ensure the well being, dignety and welfare of all residents.
As a regular visitor I always feel welcome and am encouraged to liaise over all aspects of

my husband's care. I cannot fault Red Oaks.

Overall Experience

When my father was discharged from the hospital I shortlisted a few nursing homes which had the best CQC ratings. I visited them all and Red Oaks was by far the best. It has impressive grounds, a lovely courtyard and lounge area, the rooms are well-equipped and maintained and comfortable and the food

is really good. But the main difference is the team that they have. They really have invested in their people and without exception they are engaged and caring people who really looked after my father. His floor have a team of nurses, care practitioners and care assistants, all of whom are professional but also delightful, helpful and genuinely caring.
The difference was when it came to the inevitable. I can't thank the team enough for all their care and affection and it is heartwarming to know he was made so comfortable in the final stages. A really top nursing home is all about 'the team' and they have created the right atmosphere for their staff to work and residents to live.

Overall Experience

From the moment we walked into Kingsland for a visit with mum the staff were friendly and attentive, whilst being considerate and respectful of mum's apprehension.
Mum stayed for a 4 week respite after a fall. She was able to bring home comforts for her room including some of her own artwork. My sisters

and I have been trying to support and encourage mum to paint again without much success. Kingsland staff have enabled mum to enjoy to paint again, much to mum's (and our) delight.
Mum has loved the company of the other residents in the home and enjoyed jokes and laughs with the staff too. It has been a pleasure to see the mum we know and love to come out again. We can visit at anytime during the day and early evening, and even stay for a bite to eat if we choose to.
We are very grateful for the kindness and care the staff at Kingsland have shown us all. Thank you.

Overall Experience

My Father spent 18 months at Westergate House passing away peacefully on April 11th 2025. He suffered from progressive Alzheimer's - the team at Westergate kept him safe, content and calm, often happy as well. In his final days and weeks the care was exceptional (as it always had been). Communication

with family was excellent and intervention with medical professionals was always timely and caring for his best interests. The team at Westergate gave him the best possible 18 months and removed some of the worry family enabling us to visit and enjoy Dads company rather than constantly trying to deliver the care that he needed. Very satisfied in the care my husband is getting. Nothing is too much trouble from all the staff for help and understanding. We thank the carers especially for help my husband in managing his meals due to his Parkinson tremor. The catering is especially to be recommended. The entertainment is fun and

adds an extra bonus for the residents to take part in if they wish. All visitors are always welcome and I can say that from experience. Thank you to all the staff.

Westlake is a very caring home with a friendly atmosphere and all the staff are so good. My husband has recieved excellent attention and care and I could not have wished for better for him. It has given us both a better quality of life and time together. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff organise

Overall Experience

Disgusting care, a virtual assistance technology device was stolen with hardly any investigation. Nan left to sit downstairs in her wheelchair which was so uncomfortable for her; her toilet excrement left in a bucket in her bedroom to add up all day (absolutely stank!). Various other issues, never had

her alarm bell around her neck, i saw this maybe once in 9 months. Only good thing is the food was delicious.

Dads care at Westergate has been excellent. All the staff were wonderful with Dad and ensured we were comfortable he was being cared for properly

Welcome on arrival, friendly staff helped me settle in. Pleasant room on the ground floor. Excellent food menu, well cooked and presented both in room and dining room. Did not use the activities, as only there for 2 weeks post op care, but used service of hairdresser. Happy stay miss them all very

much. Would not hesitate to recommend Westlake House at this point in time.

My mum had to go into respite care while my dad needed to have urgent treatment and so glad we chose Kingsland house. The personalised care they gave her was excellent and we couldn't fault a thing. We were all very apprehensive about her going into care but would not hesitate if she ever needed it

again in the future. All the staff were just wonderful, the food was superb & the home is beautifully decorated. We would highly recommend
