My dad was admitted to Roby Lodge for respite care. He was treated with kindness, care and dignity. Unfortunately this was the wrong environment for someone with mild dementia, but I cannot fault the care given, especially to the residents with advanced dementia. Also unfortunately, a lot of his clothes
went missing, and his brand new T.V got broken. I do not think my dad was happy in this environment and started showing signs of low mood until we moved him.

My 101 year old mother has been in several care homes over the last couple of years and Swallownest is the best by far. The atmosphere there is warm and friendly and this is obvious as soon as you walk through the door. The staff interact with the residents and their families and treat them with warmth
and respect. It is obvious that they enjoy their caring roles. There are frequent activities held in the large, sunny lounge and the residents are encouraged to join in. The home and grounds are clean and well maintained. I would have no hesitation in recommending Swallownest Care Home to anyone looking for a well run, caring 'home from home' for their loved ones.

We were impressed by Ebor Court from our first visit. The atmosphere was friendly, the residents seemed very contented and the whole place was clean and bright.
Once mum moved in everyone knew our names and who we had come to see. She was treated with wonderful kindness and respect. She absolutely
loved the food. Every member of staff is above and beyond and so very caring.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. I'm so pleased we chose Ebor Court for our mum. It came as a recommendation from someone who was already there. And I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other people. Actually I'm already doing that!

Mum moved into Foley Grange during mid February 2026, initially on respite care/ trial period, due to her advancing dementia. My father and I had been considering specialist care for some months as this has been a life changing decision for all of us. From my very first telephone call with Beth, we
have been welcomed and supported, with mum settling into the facilities and routines from day one. It is a huge step when caring for a loved one living with Alzheimer's, and we are still getting used to mum living away from the family home. Foley have been simply wonderful in how they have supported us as a family, and we still can't believe how smooth the whole process has been. Nothing is too much trouble, Michelle and all her team have been incredibly calm, kind and helpful in providing much needed reassurance and assistance when we visit and when we are checking in on mum by phone. The facilities are modern, purpose built, clean and calming which has made us confident in our choice.

St Clare's Court is truly outstanding - all of the staff go above and beyond to ensure that the residents receive high quality care. Words that spring to mind include - kind, caring, nurturing, respectful, trustworthy, honest and supportive.
My Gran has been a resident for just over 18 months and
her care has been faultless from the day that she moved in. Everyone took time to get to know her, engaged her in many activities where she found herself a new lease and renewed love for life and supported her, and us as a family, through hard times of illness.
When visiting, we are always made to feel welcome and part of the St Clare's family. It is always a pleasure.
Thank you all for being caring superstars - it is very true that not all heroes wear capes but you all deserve one!

Nan went in for respite for 2 weeks and ended up staying full time. She has said nothing but good things about Mossview and she can't fault the home in any way. The rest of the family agree that the home is clean, tidy and a pleasant place to be. On a number of occasions we have been visiting the home,
there has been activities going on and all of the elderly residents are eager to participate and they all seem very happy at Mossview. Nothing seems like any trouble to the staff here. Nan's room is very homely and always clean and tidy. Overall, Mossview is a great home and I would recommend to anyone seeking a high level of care for their loved ones.

Mum went into the home just over 2 years ago and was made to feel welcome. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. She was happy there and always looked after. When visiting her, the staff had always got time to speak to us and tell us about what she had been doing. The food was always well presented,
and plenty of drinks. When she passed away, we were with her, and the staff and management were very helpful and respectful.

My Father was introduced to this facility my myself and my brother, it was daunting for him at first having lived a married life then by himself for 10 years.
The home made him very welcome from day one. As his illnesses worsened they were very good at keeping in touch and only bothering us if they
thought we needed to know.
They dealt with everything if they didn't they could offer a paid service such as hair care.
Then, on the day he died they contacted us, rang for the doctor and contacted the undertakes after we had made the necessary calls to initiate the service.
They even walked out with dad's body along with the undertakers, a lovely touch.

I have been very happy with Crofton Springs. The first time we visited, we were met with kindness and warmth. We had a thorough tour of the premises and asked lots of questions. Staff are always friendly, and that makes such a difference. My father has been able to settle in quickly and without issue.
In a short period of time, he already looks physically a lot better. Crofton Springs is clean, warm and welcoming. We are so pleased my father has a place there and are very grateful to all the staff for all they are doing.
