Hi,
Just wanted to say a big thanks to the two carers who helped with mum today they were superb. It was Smile and sorry I can't remember the other name.
Mum got quite upset being moved from the bed to the chair ( she has alzheimer's and they were so nice comforting her and reassuring her during
the move and also once in the chair. It's so nice to see this as I find it upsetting when mum gets like this but knowing they take such great care of her and show genuine compassion is extremely comforting to us knowing she is cared for so well when we are not there. This makes it all much easier for us to deal with know you guys are so caring !
Please pass on our thanks for them doing such a nice job, we are very grateful !
Reply from Pramojil Kurian, General Manager at Barchester Reigate BeaumontThank you so much for your kind message it really means a lot. Were so pleased to hear the carers were able to comfort and support your mum during a difficult moment. Well be sure to pass your thanks on to Smile and the team. Your feedback is truly appreciated.

We were so fortunate that our mother spent the last 3 years in the care of the Barchester Beaumont. She was in such capable and caring hands from the nursing care she received to the catering and cleaning staff who all carry out their work with a smile. If we couldn't visit we were reassured that she
would have had a few friendly chats with a member or two of the team during her day.
A couple of staff members were with her when she died which we are immensely grateful for and take great comfort from.
Although Mum liked to keep herself to herself there were many social activities she could have joined in with. She preferred to have the use of one of the smaller lounges for a game if Scrabble with the family.
Reply from Pramojil Kurian, General Manager at Barchester Reigate BeaumontThank you for your kind and heartfelt message. We are truly honoured to have cared for your mother and are grateful for your appreciation of our team. Were especially glad you found comfort in knowing she was not alone, and we will share your lovely words with our staff.

The care home has a very nice garden and a pleasant atmosphere. The environment is peaceful and comfortable, which makes it a relaxing place for residents. The garden area is well maintained and provides a nice space for residents to sit outside and enjoy fresh air. The staff members are friendly, caring,
and always ready to help when needed. The rooms and common areas are clean and organized. Overall, it feels like a safe and welcoming place where residents are treated with respect and kindness.

My mother has been in Bedewell Grange now for 4 weeks and she has settled almost immediately which is down to the warm and compassionate staff. My mother has Alzheimer's and was wandering at home, not eating despite carers four times a day and daily visits from family and overnight sleep overs. All
the staff are a credit to the care profession; from The carers, cleaners and administrators. Prior to this care my mother didn't join in and was isolated. Donna, the activities coordinator is the real gem in this care home. She ensures all residents are involved and actively tries to find things to do to align residents interests with activities. Her dog Honey is also an added bonus as all the residents love her and it has been proven that pet therapy supports wellness.
Since arrival in Bedewell my mother is so happy and content and states she is never leaving, which gives us as a family a great assurance that she will live well in her preferred place of care. Thank you all so much.
Reply from Miranda Robertson, Home Administrator at Barchester Bedewell Grange Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to review our home. We value all feedback as this helps us to improve our service where required . Thank you also for your positive comments regarding our home and team who work hard to deliver high standards of quality care at all times. I will pass on your feedback to the team. It is lovely to hear that you feel she is in such good hands, and its such a pleasure looking after her. Many Thanks

I have had both my parents as residents in The Fernes. My mother was on memory lane for 18 months and passed away at the end of January. The respect with which she was treated was second to none.
It would be naive to assume that care is 100 percent perfect, but I genuinely do not think we could have
found a better home, and without someone sitting with mum 24 hours a day, there could not have been more done to allay her anxiety.
The activities to engage with residents are so varied - mum was not very sociable with her dementia but enjoyed table tennis from her wheelchair, giant connect four and made use of the garden. Visits from children's choirs were a highlight for her.
When mum deteriorated in her last days the staff could not have been more considerate with us as family as well as with my mother.
Dad is now a resident and whilst primarily bed bound he enjoys the interaction with all the staff, the smiles, the jokes, the "dropping in". The laughter sustains him.
Reply from Alina Danetiu, General Manager at Barchester The FernesThank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review. We are truly touched by your kind words and deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the care of both your mum and dad. It was an honour to care for your mother during her time on Memory Lane. Your words about the respect, dignity, and compassion she received mean more to us than we can express. We also want to thank you for recognising the efforts of our team during such a difficult time at the end of your mum's life. Supporting both residents and their families with sensitivity and kindness is at the heart of what we do, and it means a great deal to know this was felt by you. It is also a privilege to continue caring for your dad. Thank you again for your trust, your honesty, and your warmth. Please know that you are always welcome, and we are here for both you and your family whenever you need us.

I am very pleasant with everything. Sometimes the communication is not very quick. I need to know whats happening. I love exercises with Don in activites. Carers are really good. Oksana is the best carer. I feel vaccum cleaner is too loud and its disturbing. I do understand that they do deep cleaning.
I have been out for for 2 trips with Gitana and Fiona is a very good driver. It is very nice talking to Fiona.

My Mother has been in Queens Court now for 10 months.
The staff have been so supportive helping her settle in. They are so kind and understanding to her needs.
The social calendar is amazing, there is always an activity for my Mother to join in or a musical event for her to watch.
The way her day
is structured has had such a positive impact on her, the combination is exactly what helps her feel happier, calmer, and more connected.
I was especially impressed with Christmas at Queens Court, the effort at making the day extra special for all the residents was amazing to watch.

The staff at Queens Court are absolutely amazing.
They go above and beyond to care for my Mother. Nothing is too much trouble and they always ensure she is taken to the daily activities.
Every time I visit, she looks so well-presented and cared for, which means a great deal to me and our family.
It's clear that the staff take real pride in making sure residents feel comfortable, dignified, and at their best each day.
Her room is always spotless, tidy, and welcoming. It's lovely to see such high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail, as it really creates a pleasant and homely environment.
The staff are kind, attentive, and clearly dedicated to what they do. Knowing that my Mother is not only well looked after but also happy and comfortable gives us real peace of mind. I'm very grateful for the care and effort they put in every single day.

Mum was admitted as an emergency after a fall. During the 6 months she lived at Ross Court she found a new lease of life. She made friends with both residents and the staff who were endlessly kind and supportive during the good times and the bad. She enjoyed a huge range of activites particularly visits
from the local children and Ruby the companion dog, and the catering arrangements, especially the daily supply of fresh cakes were exceptional. Mum has left Ross Court today in tears leaving behind a host of new friends in a place she came to call home.

Our 88 year old father Frank was given three months to live whilst in hospital. He was also suffering from dementia, mildly but deteriorating rapidly. He was admitted to the "Memory Lane" area at The Beaumont, Chorleywood. We arrived by ambulance, later than agreed but the welcome from the staff could
not have been better. Having never experienced any care home, let alone when our father was end of life, we were apprehensive and concerned he would be cared for adequately.
Dad was treated with unconditional care, compassion and kindness throughout his short stay. Our Dad has allergies yet the food was outstanding with every consideration given to accommodate his needs and appetite. The carers and nursing staff were so attentive keeping our Dad clean, washed, and the personal care was second to none. This has always been important to him ( a very proud ex-serviceman). The linen on his bed was always clean and laundered. His clothing was washed by the home and everything returned to

Milford House is a delightful care home in which my wife has spent 6 weeks in 3 different visits, following a total knee replacement on both knees and recuperating from a broken femur. She was made most welcome and looked after extremely well, helping her recover from the surgery.

The first thing that struck us when we first entered Lindum House was the peace, cleanliness, and calmness of the home. The staff were very friendly and professional, and the whole place had a 'home from home' feel about it, especially with the coffee bar area where residents relaxed and chatted on
comfortable settees. Dad loved the room he was shown, and with the staff's help, it very quickly became 'his' with pictures from his home put up and the room made to accommodate his wheelchair. 'It has everything I need in here', Dad said. He loves the beautiful gardens and being outside. He has started to enjoy the varied activities provided and has made friends with several residents. Dad enjoys meal time and the varied choice menu, along with the snacks available at the coffee bar, like fresh fruit and cake. All the staff have been so helpful to us and dad in making this transition to living at Lindum House. It really is like visiting Dad in his own house. It's such a relief to know Dad is safe and well cared for and treated as an individual. Thank you.
